With the like of Germany and Spain out of the tournament, Brazil stands as the favorite to win the football's most prestigious tournament in Russia. However, Brazil stand to face their biggest test as they face one of the best teams so far in this year's tournament, Belgium, a team that possess decent players in Sochi on Friday. But the question is should Gabriel Jesus spearhead the Brazil's attack against Belgium?
Gabriel Jesus has started for Brazil in their previous matches. He has been given enough chances to prove himself. However, the Manchester City attacker has failed to live up to his standard as Firminho, who has only came in as a substitute in three of their four matches has provided a better performance.
Firminho has shown the world what he means to the team just as he did at his English club, Liverpool, where he, alongside his two compatriots, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane terrorised the Europe last season.

Coutinho understands Firminho better than Jesus as the two played together under Klopp at Liverpool. He will not only bring the best out of Neymar but Coutinho will be at his finest form if his former Liverpool teammate pairs with him.

Belgium possess experienced players who are capable of pulling a surprising win over Brazil. With the like of Eden Harzad, Romeu Lukaku and Manchester City's powerhouse, Kelvin De Bruyne, Brazil will be facing a matching opponent and if they are to win the match comfortably, Firminho should start ahead of Jesus.
