@misslasvegas and I were talking and we had the same idea - We wanted to keep the love going!!!! I'm all about the win/win/win/win situations!
So how can I make one???
Spunkee Monkee is one the newest projects for Steemit and the ORIGINAL project for onboarding FAMILIES to the blockchain. It's an awesome new Steem-powered, reality-fueled treasure hunt with REAL prizes for kids to find while instilling healthy mindsets and great habits!

Starting January 1, we want 100 family accounts to be ready to jump in the fun!!! @xcountytravelers recently sent me a Monkey Dance video. I couldn't stop laughing. So here's the deal!
I wanna see your hilarious dance videos. If you need dance lessons, take it from the monkey video above! 😂
- No more than 60 seconds
- MUST be clean. Spunkee Monkee is a family project! 😉
- Write "Spunkee Monkee is looking for families to beta test their online treasure hunt starting Jan 1 2019. Contact @dreemsteem for more details at [email protected]" in the beginning of the post!
- Title the video "SPUNKEE MONKEE DANCE BY @........" (enter YOUR name after the @)
- Use the tag #monkeesnap
- Post on d.tube
- Leave the link for your entry in the comments below!

I presume you are looking for families where the kids also have accounts?
Yes - they are family accounts :) but the parents will want to have a separate account that they are sharing with the child!
(and when they get the account - make sure you follow @spunkeemonkee so we can send messages to you when we get ready to launch!) :)
That seems to be very interesting and funny. If I will have enough time and my family let me do, I will post my entry.

Umm, Spunkee Monkee is not a very "family friendly" name. Just thought someone should let you know that.
Well it is
The word spunky means upbeat, energetic, quirky, etc.
But in the same way that words can be twisted to mean other things- and I can think of many, some people fixate on alternative negative meanings.
Lots of words and symbols are taken over by people who like to drag things down. Doesn't make them bad.
We keep the positive spin on a harmless word. 🙂

That's an awesome idea! And I love the spunkeemonkee idea too. I've made a family account so my kids could get involved too months ago, but they never really did anything with it (I'm hogging the PC lol), but I'd say they'd love to become beta-testers if that's still an option. I'll even try to have them dance LOL. But we won't join the contest, since I'm a fellow winner...Hmmmm, now I have to seriously think what to do for a contest. I'm giving myself until the weekend :)

It's not required for them to do it... Just fun hehehe

the dance contest? or participating in the Beta Test of Spunkee Monkee?
if for the Beta Test - from elementary age up to junior high age ( maybe 8-14) is best - but since it is Beta, if you really really really want to try for an age outside of that range, we can make exceptions! :)
Each child must share an account with a parent in order to play :) It's a family account, not a child account :)

The younger two still entertain me and the older one just said she wants in
So that 13 year old I might have to corner hahaha
The youngest has been pestering me for his own YT account so I was thinking of getting him started on the blockchain instead 😅

Yes - they would each need their own Steemit account (so you might want to get this now, so they have it in time for January 1)
Also - we are doing weekly challenges in the month of December. they can participate in that as soon as they get their Steemit accounts - just go follow @spunkeemonkee :)
