Fried Jalapeno Honey Chicken (no batter) Recipe
An easy to make recipe that tastes delicious and will have people saying, "Oh, nice, is this chicken?" and then you can reply, "No, it's dogmeat and you just got PUNKED" (just kidding).

Serves: 10-12 servings
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup Heinz ketchup
- 2 jalapeno chillies, sliced and chopped finely
- 500g chicken breast tenders
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp cooking oil (like olive or vegetable)
Steps
- To make the honey-jalapeno sauce, combine all ingredients (except chicken) in a medium saucepan and heat over a medium heat until it boils. Then reduce the heat and simmer for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large frying pan, fry the chicken tenders in oil over a medium heat and cooking for 3-5 minutes until the chicken is cooked.
- Once chicken has been cooked, coat in the honey-jalapeno sauce and then serve with a nice side salad.
