On tele we often see those hurricanes going through Kansas or where is it with storm watchers driving like crazy to catch up on them etcetera but here in peacefull Netherlands we do not see these normally.

Unless…..it is getting hot and humid early in the year and storms develop above land. Last Monday this was the case after a very hot Sunday.

The firedeparment of the region that was hit speaks of a 5 kilometer zone with a lot of damage like fallen trees and roof tiles gone.

I live some 40 km more to the West of that region and apart from some lightning and twice rain I did not notice much. So it was a local thing.

This dog misses it favorite tree now
