Be importunate in prayer

I heard someone said 'if you ask God for some request again and again( even though the request is consistent with the word) it depicts that you lack faith'.

This is absolutely not true. Importunity in prayer does not mean lack of faith or doubt in the ability of God in granting your requests. It actually indicates faith. For he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Otherwise you won't be insisting and standing your ground on the word to produce results.

Many children of God give up too soon in the place of prayer and seek alternative ways in having answers to their problems. Many fail to have a consistent life of prayer but when situation warrant prayer they always desire quick answers to prayer and faint to soon when answers to prayer has not yet materialized.

Prayer first of all should be seen as a fellowship with God and not just an opportunity to ask God for something. To be discourage about a situation you have prayed about is not faith. For faith is the confident assurance and expectation that what you ask God for has been granted you. The most amazing thing about prayer is that it changes the individual that engage in it and conditions you to the atmosphere and character of your answered prayer.

Never give up in prayer. Prayer until something happens. Your faith will definitely produce result if you faint not.
