Lady In Red

There she stood,
A beauty in a gleeful mood,
The lady in the red dress,
A mystery to be understood
She'd ridden into town on a bus
And victory lane was her stop,
She came this far without an invite
Searching for a home or respite

She walked down the road
To the first house,
The house which belonged to the Miller's,
She rang the bell a first time
Then went on to ring it a couple more times,
Until she realized that they weren't home,
So she picked her bags and further she went
To the next house on the lane.

She comes to a stop a few houses down,
Still infact wearing a smile
Again she stood in front of a door,
This time it was that of The Shaw's
She rings the bell and someone answers
But not to let her in, it was pure disaster
The door opens and she was asked to leave,
So she rolls up her sleeves and gives off a hiss.

She picks up her bags and again she went
Down the lane to the house just on the bend,
Hoping that this time she'd be accepted
She comes to a stop on the house intended,
It was the house of the Brown's
This time infact, she had abit of a frown,
She does her routine and rings the bell
Someone answers, It is but a little lovely girl
Come in she says and the lady is happy,
Perhaps she finally found a home
It isn't but awhile later, we hear screams of horror
It came from the Brown's, loud screams of terror
She's dead they say, our little Annabelle is gone.
