Staking Lab update and Steemit contest

So… Staking Lab have recognised the influence and potential of the Steemit platform so they have decided to offer Steemit users a reward / bounty for a recent post about their platform.

One month review of shared masternodes

For the sake of those that have yet to hear about Staking Lab and their services, let me enlighten you.

What they do:

Staking Lab offer a secure, online platform for subscribing to a shared masternode / staking pools. There are a few sites out there that have a similar offering but I really feel that Staking Lab do offer the best combination of ease-of-use and functionality. The interface is really self-explanatory and does not take very long to get accustomed to. The team behind the site are very active and often take the communities suggestions on board. They roll out regular updates to further improve on the sites functionality and usability.

Coin Swaps

It is in the nature of many of these staking and masternode Alt coins that they often require swaps to new chains as they settle down. The guys at Staking Lab make this really easy by handling / supporting the swaps for the user. This is a lot easier than trying to worry yourself with the wallet updates and coin transfers yourself.

Withdrawals

It has been quite some time since I processed a withdrawal from Staking Lab but the last time I did, it went through pretty seamlessly within 24 hours. This was from my wallet and I thought that was a pretty good turnaround time. Withdrawals from active masternodes are done 2 times a week.

Instant Nodes

With a normal masternode. You need to wait until there are sufficient coins in the masternode before you can start getting rewards. An instant node is a special service where no matter the amount of coins you deposit, you will start earning rewards instantly. They do charge a premium for this service but I think it is totally worthwhile. Instant nodes are also great for re-investing your masternode rewards as this helps grow your portfolio quickly. More on this in the next section.

Compounding made easy

One of the pieces of functionality that I really like is the re-invest function. This makes it very easy to take the coins that have been produced as a rewards in the masternodes and reinvest the coins in another masternode. This really helps the compounding nature of the investment. One of the channels in the Discord chat is reserved for notifications of new masternodes that have been launched.

Support

The Staking Lab team offer 2 forms of support. They have a comprehensive ticketing system setup on the site that can be used for tracking logged issues. However, on the Discord channel, there is always someone to assist with most levels of queries.

Besides masternode returns, I have also picked up 3 active referred users. This means that I earn a tiny amount on all of their rewards earned on the platform. At this stage the value is negligible but hopefully it will eventually add up to something. This post is based purely on my experiences on Staking Lab. My coins on the platform are only a part of my crypto portfolio as I know that one must spread the risk. Although my portfolio on the site has not performed that well recently due to the hectic bear market currently, the actual operation of the site and their offering are really great.
