China Should Consider Launching its Own Stablecoin, Central Bank Expert Says in Op-Ed
Thus far, the Stablecoins created are USD backed. This creates a situation where the USD appears on an even larger stage globally.
This has raised some concern among those with ties to China. For this reason, one Central Bank expert opined that China should create a Yuan-backed Stablecoin. This ensures that China could be a bigger player on the global currency stage.
