Bonsai : An art to cultivate, patience to develop

This plant was bought in a stall
It is still in a plastic bag that waiting for transplant to a pot

Bonsai, some people says it is an art, some says it is a skill but most saya it needs patience.

For me it is a consist of all the three.

• Art
  If you look at a plant from far or near you admire it not the way it is but the shape it can be trained or cultivated into over a period of time. This requires your inspiration, imagination and perhaps some intuition. Your look at the ordinary plant or shrub into its future
• Skill
  Certianly skill is requoee to take care of the plant fe9m it's untouch state to a full bonsai. It need various skill range from pot and soil selection , tools and accessories, and the skill to train the branches into shape that you envisioned
• Patience
  Lots of th 8 would suspect. Right feom the untouch t9 a full grown shape. In between the front/, care must be given t9 allow the plat to regrow.

This is the result of.this shrub after it is transplanted onto a bonsai pot. All the branches are carefully trimmed and trainined to t9 your desired shape.

At this stage due care must be given to the plant since it has been uprooted and excess roots are cut away. Pot is now shallow with less soil. Water retention is certainly lesser than before.
