Restructure my delegation after a week with @steem-ua
For those of you who followed, I have made a post on my delegation to steem-ua last week. I thought I can survive without my 250SP, and yes I did, but I hardly living. Don't get me wrong, not that steem-ua did not upvote me. Somewhat I find it disturbing for me as I am so worry if they upvoted me. Here's what I got from them in a week of 250SP delegation.
For 7 days, I got my 7 upvotes total worth of 2.61. Take away curation, I'm up about 1.9575. If considering steem price at 0.7, I'm getting 2.796steem+SP. Which, is a pretty good deal! With this more then 1% ROI a week, I can safely assume I'll be getting back around 145steem+SP. That's like 58% a year! I can actually start to rip my fruit in about 20 months and still I have my 250SP sitting at the delegated column, which I can opt to collect it back anytime! And then...
Either I'm stupid or I'm an idiot. I have redelegate to steem-ua 25SP and decided to roll back the 225SP next week. Once again, don't get me wrong. Nothing wrong with steem-ua. I am the one with the problem. I could not stand seeing my reputation score fluctuate and I can't do anything about it. The smart comment has always been saying I'm on the right track, keep finding new followers(it's not like I'm not trying). One of my best piece of the week, the post ranking dropped by 40 places and the upvote also reduced. Morale wise, these upvotes value subconciously affecting my self esteem. I couldn't stand seeing low upvote value from another account which I delegated, and the account give me a low upvote because of a complex algorithm that deciding my post ranking is lower.
I have now only 807SP, may be I should take one step at a time. What's being delegated to steem-ua left 25SP, so may be the next time I will slowly increase it back to 100SP. Give me a little bit more time, hopefully back to 250SP and more.

Out of all the bots and resteeming services I've tried steem-ua and joining a curation have been the best so far. I powered up more steem so I could still manually curate some. Can't go without it!

Tbh, I don't think you should be too concerned with your ranking dropping 40 places. It might mean that others just worked very very very on their engagement to get ahead of you. How much did your UA score change, that's the main thing.
Sometimes, I think people are starting to get too obsessed with how much upvote they're getting and the returns on their delegation. Don't get me wrong, I look at my payout and its getting to a very low point but I just have to condition my mentality to not be too bothered about it. Part of the low payout is due to the low Steem price and there's nothing I can do about that. And part of that is because I'm not getting much new upvoters. The latter is a two way thing, because I haven't been engaging much recently. That I can control.
In a way, Steem UA is a good thing because one of the drivers is engagement, so it all goes round.
I better go an check how much they've upvoted me now........
Not any people that are too obsessed. That people including ME. And I understand exactly about the wrong mentality. Hence I rather withdraw huge portion of my delegation for now. I don't think I'm ready for 250 just yet. I don't like myself starring at the upvote contributor list every minute everyday just because I have delegated to steem-ua . Perhaps my English is too horrible and you didn't understand me. I totally understand this is my own problem, and I'm trying to deal with it now. Perhaps later when I got used to it, then I go with 100sp, then I will be back with 250sp again. 😘

Adjusting your mentality is good, but withdrawing you delegation is a bit like 斬腳趾避砂蟲。Just leave it and don't check.
斩了。不要想太多。This is exactly what am I facing. If I don't cut, I will continue to face my own pressure. Mentality, not like I turn the radio switch and then I'm adjusted. So I kinda like, yeah might as well just redelegate what I can afford. Besides, it's not like I'm totally removing my delegation, I'm just going back to stage one and to ease myself ☺️

I did not complain on the upvote value. It's myself being too concern on the ranking. The ranking directly affecting the upvote percentage given by steem-ua . Don't get me wrong, they did nothing wrong. The one who is wrong is me. I need to deal with my own problem.

Not really, in terms of upvote value in return, they're still the best so far. I did a rough calculation, APR can reach 58%. Can't find any delegation service provide this high payout. Before that, I need to be prepare to STOP counting their upvote, as the past week has been hell to me. I got demoralized when steem-ua picked on of the lower engagement post and comment me a rank drop. Other posts that has 30 replies they didn't come. At times, steem-ua came twice in one day, the post is so new that I don't even have time to interact with my follower yet and it up voted already. Looking at the ranking drop drove me nuts! I find myself holding it too tight and I better release some so I don't stress too much.

The keyword is CAN, so it's not certain. Realistically I think it's actually much lower for most people who delegated to @steem-ua.

Irrelevant. The problem lies with me, myself. I'm holding it too tight. Statistically, this is a sure fire investment. The only problem is, I can't deal with my own struggles seeing my posts getting small up votes from steem-ua because they choose the post I have less interaction, which sometimes when I make technical post, there's hardly anyone drop by and say hi.

Mr goldfish you are too hard on yourself. Dropping a few or going up a few ranks is normal Cos you can’t control who comments on your post and it really depends what topic you are putting up and what post steem-ua decides to upvote. You are correct about them choosing on post that has 4 comments whereas not choosing ones with 30 (happened to me too) but we should focus on things we can control rather than stuff out of our control.
You're married right? Lemme give you a metaphors, people tend to say they don't get married because of sex. And once they got married, they realized sex become an important part of their life and oftemly led to fight due to miscommunication. Having said that, can people practice no sex marriage life? This is what exactly I'm feeling now. Upvote is like sex, freakishly addictive. When steem-ua choose a better post with more interaction, I gets a better eyegasm, see a greater value of upvote. You get what I mean? I totally understand sex addict is my problem, I can't expect steem-ua to give me good upvote all the time. Shit what am I talking about now.
