Steem Golden Rule: Treat Your STEEM as if it's worth 10x as much as the market price!

I've heard this interesting idea in @theycallmedan's recent video, one with the spirit of which I agree completely.

Treat every STEEM you hold as if it's worth 10 dollars!

This is an absolutely needed advice, rule, or however you want to call it.

Why is that?

It's simple. At 80 cents per STEEM, one can easily look down to STEEM and think in negative terms about it, even dispose of it by selling, because "it's not worth it".

But was it worth at $8, not even a year back, when the crypto market was booming?

Since then crypto market was under the bear sign, but developments on Steem kept going at a strong pace.

Why wouldn't STEEM really be worth $8 now (10x the current market price), when we have a larger ecosystem, an improved blockchain, and more users than when the market price was at $8?

And yes, I'm sure most of the inactive users would return as the price increases. They are merely temporarily doing something else while market is down, and that's a natural human tendency: not many will be resilient in harsh times.

So, if you have 100 STEEM and you think it's worth 80$, think again! Its' real value is probably 800$ and its' future value might as well reach or go beyond $800, meaning 100x more than the current market price in a few years.

When I said in the title Steem Golden Rule: Treat Your STEEM as if it's worth 10x as much as the market price!, I used the word "golden" very carefully. I treat my STEEM like gold, and its technology, niche and community are the gold that backs it.

I'm not giving you any financial advice. It's your STEEM to do what you think with it. I for one haven't powered down a cent and have powered up everything except what you can see liquid on my account.
