While browsing the Android Google Play Store I saw this app for a Block Pay "S" and I just wondered what it would be like to have a point of sales app that accepted steem & other crypto in cash register fashion like this. Anyone know why steem is shown?

SmartCash is about to release the SmartCard. That is basically a mobile app for buyers and merchants where you can charge up with your SmartCash and pay instant and without fees. The app will even include a multi-currency exchange and since Smartcash and Steem are two very close communities I am certain Steem will be supported.
Don't know but, hope that it's good for something because sometimes apps just use some stuff just like that, if this app is any good then let's see what it is. But thanks to highlighting this. 🙂
It will be awesome to have an app that that allowed a resturaunt to accept steem. That will mean that we can enter any restaurant and pau for our meal using our earn steem. I expect something like that in the nearest future @ackza

Its actually a point of sale app as you said @ackza but its not working as its intended by the developer. Tried it and it crashes on launch.
Hahahah as I suspected. But the pictuyre inspired me, it made me believe for a momentthat we do have a sort of point of sales app for steem hidden on the google play store this whole time! Sadly things are not this simple
but maybe this will inspire someone to build one
actually I know for Ghanians and users of Mobile Money lik4 in Nigeria to, @yensesa will have point of sales app :D hah
yeah its a big step for us. Hopefully we will be able to expand it to do more ..
