Will Making Content Still Be a Good Investment in Steem Blockchain? How Much Content Creators Will Be Appreciated?

STEEM FOR CREATORS.jpg

What if you were born to a family that did not have enough money to survive, and wages from work always ran out and could not invest in the future?

Programs to improve the economic well-being of a community are often not realized well because of the limited knowledge that is not in line with the development of a modern lifestyle.

Then, what about the concept of cryptocurrency? The cryptocurrency concept as an investment becomes a new space which is also a good opportunity for young people to have hope about financial freedom.

Mining cryptocurrency in its development is no longer considered a side activity but also has become the most interesting, challenging.

Cryptocurrency in Pair with Social Media

Earning cryptocurrency with social media is the most brilliant thing, in my opinion. How come? Instead of social media activities only spent searching for existence and popularity, of course earning cryptocurrency from social media activities is the best solution for this "online" age.

Before the crypto presence, social media users benefit from becoming influencers. On this side, there is an unfavorable side because not all users can become influencers. Access to working with clients is also not easy.

So, cryptocurrency can be a solution to the ease of payment of content at this time, of course, we still call it an investment because the value of the results obtained is still crypto and cannot directly become fiat currency.

Steem Blockchain is the King of Crypto Content Monetization

There is no doubt that Steem Blockhain is the number one platform for monetization of various content. Because, the ease of obtaining tokens and access to Steem trade is quite widespread, so there is no difficulty in exchanging fiat currencies, although it is still gradual.

But behind this convenience, there is a system that many people still complain about: he rewards system is still not well distributed.

Users who come only with content, without holding large Steem Power, will have difficulty getting upvotes.

The owner of good and original content is like a pearl that finally sinks into the mud, without being seen to the surface at all.

How much Content Creator Is Appreciated?

As a writer, social media manager, and once an ex-editor for a newspaper in Indonesia, I admitted that making content is difficult compared to just curating.

It takes long dedication, not just time, but also material to produce various types of content, blogs, and vlogs. That's why creators need rewards that should be greater than a curator.

What will happen if the creator and curator's payment rewards are the same?

This will reduce the level of creator enthusiasm for Steem Blockchain. Many creators will think that "power" is the most important thing. All about money, not about the idea for the creator. Just buy Steem Power, or Power from another project tokens, then just become a curator.

Original content will be increasingly difficult to find. "Careless" content and what is easy to make are things that will be prioritized.

The positive level of the Steem ecosystem will get worse, and increasingly enlarge the image of the "jerk circle".

Good content search communities are more concerned with newcomers. Then what about users who have been in Steem for a long time and still don't get good attention even though their content is good?

Is there a Solution for Creator Content to Stay Enthusiastic in Making Content?

It is our duty together to find better solutions for our ecosystem. If indeed what must happen is 50/50 payment for creators and curators, surely there must be a fairer distribution system.

Daily content selections by certain projects or communities to be given additional awards must continue to be routinely carried out to force payment of creators' hard work.

Being a content creator is new hope in the world of blockchain-based social media. Young people who grow up from families with economic limitations will have the opportunity to more easily change their lives.

We still hope that there will be a payment system that is not at all determined by the amount of "power" on the platform. Creators hope there will be fair payments for their struggle to produce content.

Let's Hope in a New Steem

The presence of many tokens is expected to be able to provide multiple rewards. Tokens of various frontends that are run on the Steem are expected to increase the value of the investment.

We will never know whether the culture of "raising big people" is still continuing and the system into a centralized one.

For the content creator, it is only hope in the chest that continues to maintain enthusiasm to share positive things and new knowledge.

Creating content is still a valuable investment capital if the user comes without any "power" at all. Because this is the system.

In the end, the good intentions and consistency from the creator itself that will bring good luck to the value of their content.

Keep Steem On!

Regards,
A Content Writer From Indonesia

with more tribes coming in this will flourish and better for content creators

Great post and I agree with what you're saying. It's good to see that changes are at least being tried to make this a better place but it will take time. Don't forget that this is a big experiment and we're in a new way of thinking for monetising content creation. It will take time but the amount of development that's going on and with these new dapps, communities and tokens coming, there's plenty of opportunities for content creators to continue earning.

We are learning everyday to make this platform more better.

As a content creator, nothing can do better then consistency.

I think that at the moment, there is no real economic incentive to go around and vote responsibly on posts. There is waaaayyyy more incentive to just post and post... this means that there is absolutely no economic reason to HOLD STEEM, thus the price will continue downwards as there are very few upwards pressures. The only way to counter this is to add reasons to hold and buy steem that are economic and not altruistic.... then hopefully, the tokens begin to be worth more, otherwise at the rate we are going... we are likely to hold many tokens that are worth little or zero.

However, I'm not sure if this is the best way to do it... but something does need to change. There are more posters than readers at the moment!

I totally agree with making the platform more decentralized, but I think that saying a content creator and a curator will get the same reward is slightly misleading... it's not as though one curator alone is receiving 50% of the reward. That 50% is being split by an entire community that supported the content.

This is a good post, the quality content already decreased on Steemit and I started to remove jerk circle from my feed.

Tribes is the future and communities that make their own rules!

I feel ya.

Creating your own content takes time, effort and dedication. I agree that a lot of content producers will lose their enthusiasm when their efforts are not rewarded. Except, of course, for those who don't create content for the rewards, but for the creative process itself. Still, ... I often spend hours - sometimes even days - on a post. It's nice to get something in return ;0)

Many creators will think that "power" is the most important thing. All about money, not about the idea for the creator.

Ever since I came here, power has been the most important factor.
75/25 or 50/50... It's always been the people with money/power that can benefit the most, and it always will be.

That's just how the world goes 'round.

I don't like it one little bit, but it's no within our control... :0(

Yeah, we cant do anything for change the system. We just keep posting, posting, and posting again and again.

Yes, it does appear to be more difficult for us (the creators)! However, at the same time people primarily concerned with making money won’t necessarily have the time or interest in reading all the content we provide. You have just given me an idea! As we niche more and more, Steem needs to help the true writers find an audience. I’m going to pitch my idea to Steem leaders. 😉
