Satoshi's Treasure: Today We Realised How Powerful The Steem Community Can Be!

Today was the first day on our treasure hunt that we realised that full power of community on the steem blockchain. There is a community spirit on the chain that no other crypto can rival. This is Steem's big strength that is our most powerful advantage over the rest. I still cannot get over the help we have received from fellow Steemian's in the places we needed to be and what we were tasked to obtain.

We located one of the agents that we were asked to find. He was a man named Jeffrey Durant and he agreed to meet the hunt teams in a cafe in Mouans-Sartoux near Nice on the 11th May which was today. Once he received the book he would give them a qr code which would reveal a key. Even though our hunt team are a relatively small clan (70 in our discord group, around 20 active), we asked our team to put the feelers out for anyone living around Nice. Thankfully @erikah got in contact with a @stephde that lives in Monaco and surprisingly steph agreed to bring the book to meet the agent.

We were really humbled by this. Some randomer asking her to head to a cafe with a book to get a qr code! It wouldn't be my first plan for a Saturday morning. @erikah and @wholeself-in confirmed I wasn't mental, and thankfully Stephde agreed. We were a bit late sending the book which was in Japanese so we did not hold out that much hope that the book would get to her workplace. Myself and @akiroq were so pessimistic about it that we kind of gave up hope. On Friday night Steph got in contact asking what we wanted her to do. We checked the book and it had arrived at her workplace but it was sent to the wrong floor!! She was 3 floors under so never received it. So close but yet so far. But yet today at 1pm we got a message off Steph that she still went to the meet and obtained the keys. Our whole team were in shock.
@stephde only went and done it and got the keys.

We were all delighted at ST Steem Clan HQ on discord. Alot of the team spent the whole week planning this meet and also looking for the other 2 agents.
We actually nearly forgot about the Magical Crypto Conference which was being attended by Eric and some of the ST team. Another member of our Steem clan @jeffjagoe was at it and he has obtained a few business cards for us. The business cards of the ST team make up one of the keys so Jeff was a legend getting us these.

This is what I am talking about. On the same day we asked a Steemian in France and a Steemian in New York to help us. It's like a secret society with a special handshake. It kind of made me feel proud of our platform that people you never met before would go out of their way to help.

While today was pretty much all good news , we had a some bad news also . Our most important member of our team @akiroq broke her nose while out on her 10km run. We hope she has a speedy recovery. We both know what really happened. @balticbadger took her on the booze with his firefighter friends and you fell going into a nightclub. Or maybe @xvickx sent you a plant or two!

As usual we are still looking for new members from our Steem platform. Thanks to our more established Steemians like @paulag , @pennsif , @cryptoandcoffee for spreading the word. We got some expertise in last week especially in the CS field which was really helpful @ervin-lemark, @r0nd0n and @mscii to joined up with @juliakponsford and @wholeself-in to get very technical with regards to the art show mini quest. Thanks a million for your help guys.

We think he is in Chengdu in China due to an Image behind his face that we obtained by fiddling with the image saturation.

An image was tweeted last night of this which may narrow it down a bit. We are busy looking through this company to see if our guy is working here. No luck so far. If any of the @kr-community has people in this city we need your help. There is only 15 million in this Chinese city. Hopefully we are homing in on this agent and give him a book. We will need someone on the ground in China unless @stephde wants to take a flight 😜.

Agent 3 is also still at large.

I thought this guy would be the easiest. But he's the bloody hardest. Never mind Asian people looking similar. Big white guys with beards look all the same too.
So there we have it. This is where we are. There is a mini quest called the art show which is slightly more technical also that Julia and @wholeself-in are getting close to solving also. We have more keys right now than any other clan searching for this hunt. That's right. Jeff made sure of that tonight! So we are ahead. This motley crew from the steem blockchain are actually winning the race. Only 395 keys to go. We need a bigger group. We are free to koin. We give you tokens for your contribution.
