@nonameslefttouse has a gift for aphorisms or pithy statements. Yesterday he threw out the one in the title as a sarcastic reply. I said it should go on t-shirts given to all national politicians, just so the dynamics are completely clear in our corporate & egotistic system.

Some people are sad to see GHW Bush go. I say, are you kidding me? I understand respect for institutions, but the man was akin to a war criminal, propping up the Saudi Arabia regimes and other racketeering going on around the world via the IMF and World Monetary fund, not to mention all his links via Reagan to death squads in Guatemala, Nicaragua and places to diverse to mention. An upholder of elite values and concentric circles of entitled wealth.

I challenge everyone on STEEM blockchain to work for more and be more. We've only just begun to realize what is community here. Let's not be like the centrist and despotic forces that have shaped the world into a ball of cold, hardened clay for too long. Let's dive into a future open to all and welcoming, and keep hammering away out our small internal struggles until they are the dust on so many great roads to a better tomorrow.
