Doing The Numbers
Whatever tribe you are working in or invested in they could be overvalued or undervalued, but at the end of the day there is still value to be had. Every tribe has a token that is valued against Steem and if Steem does well which we all hope for at some time then the tokens should benefit.
I have been on Steem for over 18 months now and worked my nuts off day in and day out to hopefully one day have something. The tribes have changed how most of us operate as they are a by product of Steem in a way that you can now earn double or triple what you were earning before.

I am in the Sportstalk tribe and will use that as a prime example as that is what I know and understand. I have just under 7500 SP on my Steem account and that as I said before took 18 months of manual labor and love. Obviously loads of support as that isn't possible otherwise.
If we say an account has a Million or even 10 Million Sports Tokens have you taken the time to work out what that is worth when Steem pops it's head over the $1 mark or back around $4 again. Because all these tokens are backed by Steem it is easy to work out and on current prices today where 1000 Sports will net you around 1.5 Steem an account holding 10 Million Sports is worth 15 000 Steem or more. At $4 for Steem that is $60 000 in value for a few months work. Not bad when you look at it in that context.
This is fairly insane considering how long it took to get 7500 Steem originally for myself. 10 Million is not that hard to achieve if you dedicate yourself to the community and be part of the tribe. I can see accounts with 100 million Sports in the future and it will happen. I am sure the ones who are staking in the other tribes have seen the same sort of game being played and have locked onto the same idea. Small percentages in each tribe are growing with many selling crating a divide between the top and bottom.
I am by no means saying not selling is a good or a bad thing but at least growing your stake for the future seems like a smart choice for now in my opinion. The more that is staked the harder it is to earn as the vote values tumble for everyone. Truthfully I don't mind as like some others are here to grow for the long term.
A little birdie once told me that Steem is like a University Degree as there is so much going on and to learn. Your account takes time to grow building its foundation and developing over time. I thank @tarazkp for that advice and it has stuck with me ever since. It is all about tomorrow and the next day and not about now.
one thing i like about sportstalksocial is that there seems to at least be some level of regulation of the posts so that a majority of them are sports oriented. Still too many "report cards" for my liking though :P
Actifit is the report cards you are obviously referring to, but they aren't that bad. There seems to be more traction with sport related posts now and the balance is improving. The site is regulated and in the last two weeks noted a vast improvement with less abuse. The users care and that is what is important.

I havent staked any Sportstalk coins yet seems a good project... whats a good ammount to start staking?
Not much. The key things are to write and put effort in your posts, and make sure you visit the larger stakeholders - it’s like Steem was years ago, comment to be seen 😁
I agree with what @abh12345.sports said as you need to write your own stuff and you will be rewarded. You are a kiwi and all kiwi's love sports. You don't need anything to start, just start.

You're over 5 million right now, you'll be at 10 million before we know it! It is a testament to your hard work. The grind of the early days is rough especially if you didn't invest money out of your pocket!
I’m not sure about C&C, but I bought around 800 STEEM worth of SPORTS early on. Not regretting that at all 😎

Not really as this is fun when you can concentrate writing about things you enjoy. I suppose it could be hard if you aren't passionate about sport. I plan to shoot past 10 Million and see where this one goes.

I really agree. Being part of Steem sidechain means any positive news Steem is having will also be a positive news for Sportstalk (most likely). I am also an active membe of this tribe and I truly believe that this tribe has the truest purpose.
Right now, I'm trying to balance my Stake both in SP and in Sports Power. Who knows, something will happen in Steem that won't happen in Sportstalk or vice versa. Good thing is I haven't put anything in one basket.
I have also invested in some great projects like Tron and Cardano which I am only holding.
Thanks for noticing that and should read 1.5. I see this tribe as the obvious one for the masses when and if they join Steem.
Agree with Statement that Staking Now can Really Let You an Ultimate Benefit in Future.

In the early days of Steemit there were people earning over 10k steem on their posts. Yeah! It was ridiculously cheap so some people thought it wasn't worth their time
Now look at it took today, those people who took the advantage then and accumulated a lot of Steem are still rich today. At least, most of them are!
A lot of people today keep talking about how they wished they knew about Bitcoin in its early days but what about now that a coin like Sports could give them financial freedom for life?
If anyone can't take the opportunity of Sportstalk right now I doubt if they can ever take any opportunity in their lives
You are so right about this. The opportunity is right now and if you can't see it then nothing will. I wish I had been around in the early days of Steem and now this is like the second opportunity.
