Using A Beneficiary Could Take You Down To 40/60.

I have been thinking about the 50/50 rewards split and I am happy with this as I believe it is the shake up that is needed on here. There are many other factors we don't think of though that will have a knock on effect.
Think of some of the Dapps that charge a 10 percent beneficiary charge for using their interface for posting. I am posting from Esteem for this post so what does it mean?
I number one won't be looking at 50/50 but a 40/60 now if these changes come into effect.Esteem wont be getting their 10 percent cut of the post like they are now though either. Yes they make curation from their vote but will be making 10 percent of your 50 percent cut against their 10 percent of your 75 percent cut currently.
From my understanding they will lose out on roughly a third of what they are making now.Yes they will increase on the curation rewards and maybe some users wont use these dapps due to the penalty imposed for using the interface. I don't know what there thoughts are on it, but I am sure they have a plan to overcome this.
I for one will still be using them as my posts are still fairly low value, but what about the others who have $20 or $30 reward value on the posts.
They can adjust their beneficiary amount accordingly. The ones at 10% will do fine, but the ones taking a lot more may struggle to find people willing to post. Dapp creatotd definitely have something to think about. However they can always switch to smts in the future and give out 3rd party tokens as a compromise for now.

yap i commented on that few times, creators will get the smallest cut. but everyone is saying creators will get more because of higher rate of curating. I don't see that happening but i probably know nothing.

I give it a thought before. But as my post payout value is not much I don't have to worry. eSteem is giving me is the highest vote among all the voters on my post. :)
I agree with you and in the same boat.I appreciate what they do and won't change either.
I stopped using Esteem a while ago. I really like it, but I don't like the fact that they always take a cut. I have been using Busy much more frequently now because I can choose if I want to give them a cut or keep it for myself.
I've been using Esteem for awhile on my phone now, I really just like how convenient it is! I must admit I never put much thought into the cuts!
