Holy Crap Steem did 250,000 transfers yesterday

That is absolutely huge. Transfers are the most direct equivalent of Bitcoin transactions - these are not upvotes or comments, although many will be minimum value with messages.
Bitcoin did 350,000 Transactions on the same day - Steem transfers alone are set to surpass Bitcoin soon. 250,000 transfers is also several times as many as Litecoin and almost all other cryptos, especially when we only count transactions that directly transfer value.
Around 267,000 transfers according to SteemSQL - and seemingly not just all minimal send spam.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, @arcange ?

Begs the question why you would move apps off Steem on to a clunky blockchain with fees. ;)

I don't know of any who would do that. They might move to EOS or Tron though with similar fee models to Steem. I still think Steem RC is a better model than the system EOS is using for RAM though.

Though it is a good news for steem lovers, but steem is not growing as it is supposed too!
But i am happy to see team is working now and more development to follow.
I think now they are setting ground for upcoming SMT event.

Steem transfers are growing quite rapidly. Posts and comments are not growing so fast, but transfers and custom-json (stuff like Steem Monsters and Drug Wars) are surging.

Now a days bitcoin looks too good. And price of bitcoin going little bit up. It is very very good news for steemit users. Steemit is very great and trusted platform. Hopefully steem become more popular in the world. I m little bit worry about steem price. Steem price not going up. Now team of steem very hard working in this platform.
