Let's Make 250 New Minnows in a Month
I have been included to assist with the @steemcommunity 250 minnows a month challenge. The aim of this challenge is to achieve a target of 10 000 minnows by year end. Imagine what this would do for the block chain.
What is the project about?
The aim is to grow enough accounts into a middle class society which will not only make it more fun but make Steem scarcer at the same time. As you know the retention levels of Steem holders in Minnow status is far higher than in the Redfish stages.
@steevc has created the tag #tenkminnows which we are using for the posts in order to help these accounts. @theycallmedan did a post recently mentioning what we needed for Steem to grow and calculated there is enough Steem for 300 000 accounts holding only 1000 Steem or Steem Power. We know it can be less as so many accounts have more than 1000 SP already so this is a good initiative to get the ball rolling.
The accounts that have been selected in my batch need to do a post about their Steem journey so far and if possible more than one post per week using the #tenkminnows tag. The more posts you do the quicker you will grow and the better it will be for you. Stick to a maximum of one post per day and it needs to be a decent post as a photograph with a few sentences is not acceptable.

Am i not free for this? Can’t you power up me? Why this is necessary?😊 Isn’t this a give away? Does not nobody power down out of me? I am trading them for more. I can not promise you. Will you hodl them till the end of time?I am using steemit close to 1 year. And the fiat of steem go down %75. I publish good and original content that i think. Many participants are much poweful than me with support of their friends.
Or if this the problem that because why you do not support me. I can say that i can send back the steem who sends me if you trust.
Please do not take it negative or rude. Please inform and teach me. Am i thinking wrong?
Hi @bidesign. This isn't a giveaway , but assisting accounts to get to Minnow status. Unfortunately you are powering down and for this reason you wouldn't qualify.
So please can you tell me sir why this is neccessary? do you want to powerdown before than me? But thanks for interest. 😊👍

This definition is almost wrong. This is not a Making Minnow Project this is a saving funds or banking Project.

Yes as we are helping users get over the 500 SP mark. The only problem with your account is you were powering down. Only users that are powering up and growing are being helped.

Sorry, there's no program for them at the moment but I'm recommending you the Redfish Power UP League. It's a great way to monitor your growing and if you're doing it right, you can earn some rewards here :)

Awesome idea to help others to help Steemit grow. My only question is why would you support someone in this effort if they haven't been active in more than a month? I am sure there are others that are active that could be substituted? If the signed up then forget I even said anything.
We are not supporting inactive users. I'm quoting a part of the post written by steevc for you to see how this works:

I've seen @paulag's video and request. I'm part of the Redfish League. It's great that she gave you a list to look from. I was just perusing through the list and saw a few that have not posted in about a month is all. I know that doesn't mean they are definitely inactive, that they are probably just commenting.
It was just a question and nothing meant by it, I was curious. I am not one to assume things.
I know I am nowhere near being a minnow. I should have phrased it as how were these people chosen? Maybe that wouldn't have sounded accusatory.
No worries, I understand that the matter can be confusing. We need to stay in contact with inactive users as well. Yesterday I left a message to someone who's last post was two weeks ago and she came back and thanked me for messaging and said she's going to be active.
We need to keep this community together, the more the merrier, the better for us, right?
And no worries, you'll grow and you're going to have your chance to be helped 🙂 There are always opportunities.
That is awesome. For the first in the 15 months I have been on Steemit, I'm not worried. You're right there is always opportunity, you just have to keep yourself open to them.
