Linear Limbo

Why are users still witch-hunting and flagging and quarreling about the same symptoms? There’s no law in linear. It’s incompatible. Everyone’s farming in their own plot of land. That’s it.

Farming is a damn good way to put it. Like grinding in an MMO.

The game was much better in 2016 and early 2017, then they changed to a nonsense mmo. Can’t even have a decent trending which is arguably more valuable than random apps and “passive” income selling votes.

It would certainly make for a much healthier platform. The way it is now isn't going to attract greater adoption. Someone new comes along, puts in a ton of time and effort into their posts, and sees themselves earning a few pennies per post at best, with very little interaction from others. It feels like a waste of their time, so they give up. There is no good way for even the dwindling number of well-meaning, non-bot users here to discover all the new people who would deserve to be discovered.

yup, well said!

yeah, everyone is farming for profit (ik, including me :/), good way to put it!
