I am putting my money where my mouth is... ARE YOU?
Back in December and Januari there were so many people that were complaining that they were to late, that the price of steem was to high for them and
if only it was 1 dollar or less
guess what??
Steem is at 0.87 cents right now...
this is a price not seen since november... so what are you waiting for??
I was one of those that thought it was quite expensive at 6 dollars and at 3 dollars and that it would take 1 dollar to make my buy some.
Today I have started buying in and I will keep doing so as long as it is below this price, I will also do this in stages as such I will be hopefully dollarcent cost averaging in and get a good price overall.
Is this the end of crypto? I believe not, but it is truly the opportune time to buy a little more if you have the means to. I would not go into debt over this but if you can spare even a little bit of fiat this seems to be like an opportune time to get at least some crypto.
I will not advise on anything in particular but personally I do like Steem since it is a blockchain that is being used and even though the promise of SMTs have been on the horizon for some time now I assume they will bring good tidings to this blockchain.
I have even taken my hunt tokens and I have taken them to soon. I should have waited till I got all my new Steem powered up but only realised after that it was a one time thing. (can only blame myself, read the post by @therealwolf after that)
But for me this is my sign of faith I have in Steem and all it stands for.
Now I know these amounts will not make the top power ups of the day but for me they are significant and hopefully in the future there will prove to be the wise decision I think they are today.

I assume it will go lower still but do not like being dissapointed when it does not so I am layering in my purchases
Happy to see good men making great decisions. This is an effing sale season and those who are accumulating these dips will be the ones sitting on top by 2019.
I was just making a comment at @tarazkp's and saying that while others are forced to sit on their a** and HODL, Steem hodlers are using their tokens to actively earn more here on this blockchain.....

I got my target of 1,000 steem. If I had less, I would be buying more now. As steem is a large part of my portfolio, I don't want to buy more, as I believe in diversification. I have been saving up some SBD and if the price carried on down, then I would use that to buy more. I had hoped that steem wouldn't go this low again but this market is brutal for alts. I hope everyone is only using money they can afford to lose, as that's the only way to feel comfortable hodling. I'm surprised how comfortable I still feel, this market is likely to go on another bull run one day and if it doesn't, its been more fun than using fiat.
true, I am buying my steem now with BTC I got from shorting BTC on bitmex so this is all just like "free" anyway
That's a great idea. I'll have to start using bitmex. I didn't want to sell any crypto, so I bought some dollar stable NuBits and that's down over 90% :) I would be buying lots more steem if I had used that money to short BTC.
yea, thats what I am trying to do... build up a nice portfolio now and then ride the wave back up that will take some years though, not like december/januari
