Steem is shooting up... but why?
its not that I am not happy to see this rise in value but I am just wondering why we are seeing this happen now?
There is indeed a lot going on on the Steem blockchain and loads of projects are currently moving into more practical stages from just being plans and that also might be something to take into account
But in my opinion this is not a real solid reason to explain the price hike we have been seeing the last few days.
I have read some things that there would be a lot of buying action from Korea but cannot find a good reason. Could it be pure speculation or is there something that has been launched in the Korean scene that we do not know about in the english speaking corner of Steem.
As far as I can tell most is coming from Binance in the last 24h but Upbit is really close and Bitthumb seem to be taking a lot of the action as well
so does anyone have any feedback on the reason behind this climb and the Korean interest? The boost in SBD last year was the same thing. There was Korean speculation. Is this the same case?
Because if it is then this boost will not last that long and is not a reason to start buying steem lambos
If it is something else and it is lasting then we are experiencing something really cool. A crypto coin that is decoupling from Bitcoin. Now that would be something truly enourmous
I guess only time will tell what is happening here...
I have also heard about Korea but don't know if it's the real reason. As long as it goes up I'm fine :)

I think this a overall shift in the bear market. The more promising and solid projects are turning around and steemit is definitely one of them!
