Steem Peg Secured

in #steem5 years ago

In the last weeks we have seen an amazing recovery of steem, which is now one of the best preforming cryptocurrencies. I have my doubts that it will go further up from here and expect a medium term pullback, but this rise seems to be a good sign for steem in the long term.

The recent price rises have also restored the peg of the SBD and this peg is secure as long as steem remains above the 0.3$ levels. Still we are not back at the minimal security required before HF10, which is currently sitting around a steem price of 0.57$. But we are not far from that line.

In summary, a SBD should be back to 1$ in value and buying it below plus converting is an almost guaranteed win. The only reason why SBD is still hovering around 0.98$ is a lack of confidence after the recent SBD debacle.
