Decentralization on the rise!

I joined Steemit for the good social aspect that it can bring to its users and it’s clearly the best asset that we can take away from it.

Some of us are too focused on how the prices of crypto rise and fall on the charts, it is where they make a their living. While some of the steemians are blogging for the monetary rewards that they can cash-out and use to pay their bills or buy some food. These are all fine to me after all, we have the liberty to do whatever we wanted with our crypto.

That’s another interesting aspect that was brought by the blockchain technology - freedom!

We own our asset, steem in this case, and nobody can take it away from us. There is no minimum balance nor maximum deposit.

Blockchain is not just a technology that holds the distributed ledger of your transactions, it also instigate “trust” among the members.

There are also real-world use case for the blockchain technology, Steemit is one of them. A social media network that is built on top of the Steem blockchain and it is utilizing Steem as the token to reward contributions from the its users in a decentralized manner.

The users are the ones to decide where the reward will go to.

For any user to gain more influence to the reward mechanism, a user has to stake his tokens in a process called powering-up and convert steem to Steem Power.

Stake it and be one of the individuals that will help bring the Steem community to a much higher height.
