Prepare to be (Re)Trained!
The Steem train is at high speed and we are its passengers. Where is it going? To the future, of course!
On the train, we have the chance to engage with the other passengers, share knowledge, experiences and build relationships, all while enjoying the rewards pool from the train.
In a surreal move, one could actually add cars to the high-speed train, and more and more passengers can populate and enjoy them.
The train has its rules of functioning, however most passengers are unaware or simply don't care of many of them, and play their passenger role based upon instinct and what they know of other old and dusty trains.
Every once in a while, this train stops to change the engine, and with it, the rules that govern the entire train.
Next stop: Hardfork 20 (HF20) station. Coming soon, very soon...
Any passenger has three choices:
- prepare to be (re)trained
- stay on the train but ignore changes (possibly hoping they will make sense after a while)
- get off the train
It doesn't have to be radical changes. But even changing the order of the cars can be confusing, if you don't know what's going on.
I think you can guess what my option is. I'm looking at the information about the coming HF in advance, because when things are actually happening, it may be more confusing, and a clearer picture can help you discern what's going on.
I bet I added to the possible confusion with this metaphoric post. But don't worry, there will enough chances to speak in plain language.
I'm excited! Regardless if I understand it all or not....From what I'm learning, this station is gonna have a lot of bonuses when we pull up ;)
Well, it's not gonna be Christmas, since it should come much earlier than that, but the general feeling I get from comments on steemitblog updates is HF20 will be very well received.
We are the passenger inside the train, and if our next stop is the introduction of Hardfork 20 rules, which I believe is include implementation of SMT and also solving the issue of new registration problem and maybe with some other features I'm other to make the platform more appealing and interesting moving forward
Sure, there are bigger "stations" ahead, but let's take them one at the time. They will be easier to grasp.
