PHOTOGRAPHY:An intercourse between Art and Science.(English/Spanish)

Photography is simple. Infact, it is so simple that it requires only your ability to observe your environment perceptively and record your observations with the aid of a camera.

Photography therefore, is an intercourse between Art and Science. An intercourse? Ha! Well, photography is a scientific affair based on the revelations of Physics, Chemistry and Mechanics, the real satisfactions of photography depend on the eyes, the imagination and the form.

Let's attempt to define photography: Without any assule, photography means "writing with light".

So, no light, no photograph, simple.

Photography may mean one thing to you but a totally different thing to your neighbour. Photography is a hobby, a science, a craft, an art, a tool, a casual pastime and so on.

Two critical discoveries contributed to the modern practice of photography. First, the invention by William Fox Talbot of a practical method which provided in the camera, a negative from which positive prints could be made. The second one was the introduction of a half-tone process which made possible the quick and cheap reproduction of photograph. This was discovered by Stephen Horgan.

In the last two decades, unique scientific discoveries have further increased the capacities of photography. These include fast films, colour films, automatic camera and digital camera.

Stunning photographic inventions? We have not seen anything yet, I predict.

La fotografía es simple. De hecho, es tan simple que solo requiere su capacidad de observar su entorno de forma perceptiva y registrar sus observaciones con la ayuda de una cámara.

La fotografía, por lo tanto, es una relación sexual entre Arte y Ciencia. Una relación sexual? ¡Decir ah! Bueno, la fotografía es un asunto científico basado en las revelaciones de Física, Química y Mecánica, las satisfacciones reales de la fotografía dependen de los ojos, la imaginación y la forma.

Intentemos definir la fotografía: sin ninguna assule, la fotografía significa "escribir con luz".
Entonces, sin luz, sin fotografía, simple.
