WhatsApp Is Banning Users Using Cloned Version of the App
No doubt, these days, most of WhatsApp users are fond of using cloned or modified version of the app (GBwhatsapps, FMwhatsapp, OGwhatsapp… ), because of the additional and extended features developed with it by their various developers.
The truth is that WhatsApp doesn't like the users using its cloned or modified version because of privacy and security issues or risks (meanwhile WhatsApp itself can't be trusted sigh) and has issued a Ban warning to such such users.
Ban reads:
“Your phone number is banned from using WhatsApp. Contact support for help.”
If you get the warning message above, which means you've violated WhatsApp ToS. Don't panic, all you have to do is to uninstall the modified app and download the official app from Google Play Store.
WhatsApp FAQ contains:
“Be aware that we ban accounts if we believe the account activity is in violation of our Terms of Service.”
For me personally, I love the cloned apps than the official app and I haven't got the warning message. I will advise you to check your WhatsApp cloned variants for updates because I know they would work on anti-ban to conquer the ban issue.
Why Decentralized Social Media, Steem Will Take Over?
Steem is a decentralized social media platform that contains many blogging interfaces (Dapps) and users are not restricted or limited to use a certain Dapp, they have the freedom to use any app they love (100% freedom).
But in the case of a centralized platform like WhatsApp, we are being limited to use their official app, clamouring for security issues while they can't be trusted too!
Consider; WhatsApp = Steemit OGWhatsApp, GBWhatsapp = Busy, SteemPeak
On Steem users have the freedom to use any app, no restriction. These are parts of the reasons people should join Steem blockchain and feel the world of freedom, not slavery.
No freedom using a centralized apps like WhatsApp if we are being limited and restricted. Certainly, Dapps will rule the world 🌎 because the world is evolving with limited numbers of smart slavery every year.
