In a recent conversation, I couldn't resist but to respond to the term "blogging" when it is used as an "almost" synonym for Steem.

I think the comment is self explanatory!

So here it is:

I know you know this, but I just have to respond to the term "blogging".

Blogging is at this moment only 3 front ends if I'm not mistaken.

While that is great, the reality is that Crypto as such needs to become a household thing.

For it to become a household thing, it needs to be used for real world uses.

Tokens = business
Blockchain = community (in Steems case this is definitely 100% the case)

Blogging as such has proven itself to be very limited in its success rate as far as business goes. Hence it can by all means be one way to utilize the blockchain and tokenize blogging sites, such as Steeemit.com, Busy.org, Steampeak (and any other blogging front ends of the future)

But it is a far cry from what all Steem as such can be utilized for.

Bloggers may to date be the most common people using Steem and that is because of Steemit.com being the first front end out there on Steem, but at the same time if we are realisitic about the markets out there, we can easily come to a conclusion that blogging and blogging communities are not the future for any token or business that aims to become a "household name".

Hence why we have SBD, as a "stable coin" which can be used for anything at a value of $1 US. Makes it possible for any business to do business as usual without any major adjustments.
