Do you want to know how many unique authors you upvoted last week? Or how much self-upvoting someone has done and the total upvote worth for all those self-upvotes?

Or are you just simply one of those curious people who wants to study one's voting behaviour (i.e. a whale) to increase chances of being voted especially by the benevolent whales?

Well, wonder no more! With this awesome and quite handy tool (plus it's FREE!) all the questions above can easily be answered.

Introducing Steem Ocean!

Steem Ocean is a site that uses an indexing system for the Steem blockchain which mainly looks at one's voting patterns and even ranks steem users by their ability and willingness to upvote other users. It was created by steem witness @ura-soul, which is also the creator of Ureka.org.

The feature that made Steem Ocean popular was its "Ranking of Steem Users by Benevolence" where it shows and sorts the top 1000 ranked users who had upvoted the most # of accounts taken from the previous week.

As seen on the image below, along with the name of the upvoters, it also displays what category this people are likely to vote into and how much in total they have already given to the people in the steem platform. So if you want to get an upvote from @pharesim, you could start by writing posts under the "life" category as that is what his presumably favorite category is.

If you want to know the average upvote worth given by the accounts above, then you could calculate it by:

Upvote_Worth = # of accounts voted for / Author Vote Value(SBD)

Judging by meaningful average upvote worth, @pharesim, @hr1, @good-karma and @hendrikdegrote seems to be the most benevolent out of almost a million users in the steem platform. A big salute to this four!

But as cool as knowing whose the most benevolent of all steem users is and what category these people are likely to vote into. Nothing is more cooler than seeing a breakdown of one's voting activity.

One major feature that I totally love about Steem Ocean is its "Examine a Voter" feature. Take my vote breakdown as an example:

As seen above, in less than 5 seconds I already have the breakdown of my voting activity from the previous week presented in a very neat and clean way. By the numbers above I have a total of 150 upvotes with 68 of whom are to unique authors. To the left you'll see that my self-voting percentage is at 8.82% as I write one post per day and upvote those posts. You can also see that if I were to calculate all the upvotes that I gave to others, it sums up neatly at $6.512. Not much, but at least I was able to share the love to other people.

Scrolling down, you can even see the total breakdown of the categories I have voted for and the total worth of those upvotes in SBD. I am honestly impressed as to how neat and clean this all are presented.

And this week, @ura-soul have even added new features to Steem Ocean, as seen on his post from days ago, you can now filter and search for votes under a category or tag. As someone who volunteered to monitor the generous delegation given by @dimimp to around 60+ Space Force members/steemians, Steem Ocean have been a tremendous help.
