Why now is the best time to buy Steem (For me).
For me personally, now is an excellent time to invest in more steem tokens.
First this is a great time to practice "buy low, sell high". I think Steem tokens are at great prices and i will definitely continue to buy this dip whenever i can, however low it gets. I believe the best time to buy is when it hurts to do so.
The next reason is it gives smaller account a chance to level up with the bigger accounts. I believe that more of such dips will happen through out the adaptation process for cryptocurrencies like steem. We all know how powerful the whales are. I won't go into all that but i think most people will agree that it is a good thing for more leveling to happen. I think this gives a chance for there to be more "middle class" or dolphins on the plat form.
The last reason is i believe in being either in or out. If i want to take a chance with something i'm willing to go in and win well or fail miserably. For that reason i will continue to buy at these perceived discounted prices.
This is my opinion as you know. What do you think? Are you playing it safe? What ever you do, don't sweat it.

I agree with your ideas on buying now. I think it’s easy to buy when everyone else is buying and the stock or crypto is at an all time high, but I think that such a purchase is frequently unwise, as highs are often followed by lows. I think the philosophy of buying when others are selling when it comes to a good company is much harder to do, but much wiser. As record lows are usually followed by recoveries which may exceed previous highs in the long term.
I also appreciate your comment about building up the middle class here at Steemit. I think there needs to be a larger number of such middle class holding Steem and using the platform to help sustain it long term. The current low prices are sad to many but give Plankton and Minnow alike the chance to purchase significant amounts of Steem to reach a level of Steempower they could only dream of when Steem was near ten dollars. I don’t know if any new whales will appear, but I agree many dolphins and possibly orcas will be created by those who believe the platform has a future and are brave enough to buy when others are fearful. I have decided to buy more Steem and level up. I don’t know with certainty whether l am being brave or foolhardy, but this I know: fortune belongs to the bold. Upvoted and ReSteemed.

I agree. I think she is on target. We need more people holding Steem, not panic selling and spreading bad sentiments. We need a more balance ecosystem here. The growth of the middle class is always good for an economy.

I don't know if it's the best to buy or not. But I do know that it's the worst time for those who have bought already.

I agree with you completely. It takes no courage to follow the pack, but true conviction and strength of mind to follow your own heart and mind. @shortsegments wrote a post about how hard it was to buy low and sell high. The post looked odd at first because at first glance who wouldn’t want to buy low and sell high? But the devil is in the details. He explained it well, just like you now. Steem’s price is low right now, but how many have the courage to buy? Not many. But you do. Only the strong survive and you look like your not just gonna survive, your going to thrive.

Crypto is not for the faint of heart. Double or nothing is the name of the game! Getting off the bus now would be an anticlimax not worthy of the ride we've been on so far. I didn't get into crypto to make moderate gains. I'm in for potential life-changing ones.

My sentiments exactly. The issue is there are lots of faint-hearted people in this space who panic sell at the sight of a down turn. I'm definitely going to be buying their sales.
Specially when you know that steem has never been so lower in the past one and a half year this is the best time to jump in :D
Believing in crypto is a good thing, solid team, great foresight are all the pillars that hold any token. Your decision is a brave one, and i commend it.

How do you know that? I think the market might continue going down. That is based purely on sentiments.
