On 17th March Bangabandhu's Birthday

Today is March 17, a happy day of the life of the Bengali nation. The birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founder of thousands of year's best Bengali, independent Bangladesh. National Children's Day is also today. On this day of 1920, Bangabandhu was born in the well-known Sheikh family of Tungipara, then the Gopalganj sub-division of greater Faridpur district. His father's name was Sheikh Lutfar Rahman and mother's name Saikera Khatun. He was the third in the family of four daughters and two sons. The child named Khoka later became the oppressor of oppressed Bengalis and the release of freedom.

The undisputed leader of the Bengalis became mature due to deep political wisdom, self-sacrifice and compassion for the people. This leader of a political struggle life has become the architect of the independent Bangladesh in the history of the world. Bangabandhu's Birthday and National Children's Day are celebrated in the state honor. Today's public holiday. Various programs have been taken at public and private levels.When the life-long Bangabandhu was born, the last chapter of British rule was. He started his education at village school. In 1927, Sheikh Mujib started studying in Gimadanga Primary School. At the age of nine, he was admitted to Gopalganj Public School in 1929 and studied there till 1934. In 1937 Gopalganj was admitted to Mathuranath Institute Mission School in class VIII. Bangabandhu was involved in active politics at the age of teenager. While studying in class VIII of Gopalganj Mission School, Bangabandhu was arrested and imprisoned for the first time due to joining the anti-British movement.

Then began his revolutionary life. After passing matriculation from Gopalganj Mission School, he was admitted to Islamia College (now known as Maulana Azad College) of Calcutta. He actively started student politics from this college. In 1947, he got BA degree from this college in the country of partition. After the separation of Pakistan-India, Sheikh Mujib returned to East Pakistan and was admitted to the Law Department of Dhaka University. On 4 January 1948, East Pakistan Muslim Chattra League was established through which he became one of the chief student leaders of that province.

After the 66-point movement of 66, and the mass upsurge of 69, Bangabandhu became the undisputed leader of the Bengali leadership in the 70's election. According to his instructions, Bir Bangali took the victory on December 16, 1971, through the 9-month armed liberation war. It was born of independent sovereign Bangladesh. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the undisputed leader of the Bengali people, was killed on August 15, 15th, in a purple bullet of the killers.
