On 9th November 1950, Ahsan Ullah Master was born in the village of Hyderabad, Pubail Union (now Gazipur District) of Dhaka district.

Since then, the student movement in Tongi started to play an active role. In 1962 students protested against the Hamoodur Rahman Education Commission in the student movement. On March 26, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman declared independence and called upon Bangladesh to be freed of enemies. In response to that call, Shahid Ahsan Ullah Master participated in the liberation war. Prior to the liberation war, he was captured and tortured by the Pakistani army. Ahsan Ullah Master took part in the liberation war. With guerrilla training from Tandua in Dehra Dun, India participated in the guerrilla warfare at various places including Danga, Pubail, Tongi, Chadanasaha. On December 16, 1971, the country was liberated and the victory of the liberation war was achieved. Thousands of freedom fighters like Ahsan Ullah Master will be inconsistent on the pages of Bangladesh's history.

He was the leader of the teachers. As the President of Tongi Teachers' Association, the teachers have been favored by participating in all the fair demands of the teachers.
