In a decentralized space like Steem ecosystem, the essence of the affairs of the state of the blockchain technology is paramount and parallel to the existence of any community, cryptocurrency and its users. Hence, the Annual Festival (SIN²) will be kick starting officially with the first event this morning tagged - All about Blockchain
In brief and concise approach, and in an ordinary parlance Blockchain is the creation of computers (nodes) in different forms and sizes but they are connected to each other.
The distinction between a blockchain base application and non blockchain is the fact that it is decentralized.
That is, the computers are wired in such a way that there is no Central authority compared to other websites built on centralized servers with a controlled data or censorship.
