The annual festival of Steemit in Nigeria² Conference: the introduction, the work done and the help we need from you.

Introduction

Briefly, this is a conference that has the responsibility for promoting the steem blockchain to the offline community and therefore onboarding new users to the blockchain. Nothwithstanding, agitating for the early adoption of STEEM as a cryptocurrency. Aside from these forgoing, the conference will serve as a meeting point for steemians to share, connect physically and build a cordial relationship off the blockchain.

This aspiration started last year when we held the first edition (madien) at a small town in Osun State, Nigeria which recorded a lot of steemians across the country in presence. It was a great and landmark accomplishment. continue reading...

Meanwhile, the days are gradually here, the pressure are mounting on the crew, the working team and every other members. It is an event that will expose the STEEM ecosystem to a vast majority of crypto adaptors here in Nigeria and especially across Africa as a continent. Being that Nigeria is a centerpiece for Africa, that is why it is scheduled to happen here in Nigeria. That is, we ain't restricted in any way. If you give us an invitation to host SIN³ at SA or any other African country, we're good to go.

The Madien edition was conducted a year ago and it was a huge success. Basically, SIN² was founded a year ago on these following ideals - to help promote the activities of the Steem blockchain across Nigeria and Africa, to help or enhance the onboarding of new (active) steemians who are ready to learn, in order to create an atmosphere where steemians can leverage on to use as an offline meetup and so on.
I was and I am the (returning) official host of Steemit in Nigeria². Ain't you guys glad about that, you deserve the best and I will get you that.

Achievement so far?
In order to relief the crew the burden of catering foe almost everything at the expense of dragging the event backward. I was appointed to head the working committee of members known as the SIN² Publicity Crew. It has been saddled with the sole purpose of propagating, boosting and spread the news about the event both offline and on the chain.
We cannot be more than grateful to God and @donkeypong @ausbitbank @demotruk for supporting great number of contents written on this event so far. Specifically, @donkeypong agreed to help boost the publicity report posts and he has been doing that ever since. Thank you sir.

Here are the things achieved so far:

• Both the venue for cinema (movie night) and hangout session (after party) have been secured in Abuja respectively.

• We have been working round the clock to ensure that there is a discounted rate for all accommodation, that is why we have a subsided rate for booking hotels for our interested steemians coming over. While, it should be noted that few are residing in Abuja and neighboring towns, thus there is no need for providing for them.

• We have been able to attract the attention of the gracious & kind-hearted man @dimimp on the blockchain through some SF members' input on our behalf (I guess this is due to a lot of energy channel towards the event) and he is willing to ~refund~ more like indemnify everyone who attends SIN² with a large amount of 6,000 STEEM (to be shared) although with a condition that he/she must take a selfie with at least SF1 member(s) continue reading...

• We have had a lot of buzz about this event across several platforms and we have secured a lot of partnership deals which among them are telecommunication networks, several DApps on the Steem blockchain and other communities are willing to support SIN².

• All the conference materials have been made ready for purchase, such as the ID card, community shirts/vests and so on (all are at affordable rates)

What can you do?

We need a lot of your support at this moment as the event is gradually getting close. It will be a laudable step if you can help curate this post and resteem for more visibility (who knows the helper might be waiting for just only a resteem).
Also, we still need a lot of people who can sponsor people to SIN² at Abuja. Lately, have been abreasting myself of the contest going on for Steem Fest sponsored by @anomadsoul and others.
It would be a nice move if anyone would be more than willing to sponsor people to SIN² this year.
