I'm not the first person to say this and I certainly won't be the last. There are two kinds of people on this blockchain, the complainers and the doers, the ones that no matter what drama or in this case FUD is going around them, they keep on building. And is precisely because of this fact that it's close to impossible for me to be afraid of being so invested on this blockchain.

Walking the Talk

I won't say that it's easy to talk pretty, to say what people want to hear, but it's certainly not how we win the long game. I only say this, because among some of the people who talk about a better future for STEEM there is a select group of builders, go-getters who are not content with how things were chugging along and decided to take matters into their own hands.

This has certainly been the case with Aggroed, Yabapmatt and recently Harpagon, who not content with the delays on SMTs (Smart Media Tokens), decided they would build their own solution to the conundrum. This is how Steem-Engine was born, and today marks a very special day in it's young life, since their Exchange is officially live.

I would like to almost say that one more time, just in case you've not waken up to how significant this is. The Steem Engine Exchange is Officially Live. I for one, did not think such feat would be possible this quick, but then again I should learn not to be surprised by this awesome team.

What does this mean?

That's up to you, you literally have no excuse. All the building blocks have been provided for you to be as creative as possible. For you to be an Entrepreneur, a Steemrepreneur as my friend Wolf likes to say. Do you have a business idea? Can you think of a way to tokenize it? What are you waiting for? the lab is wide open!

This twist of events, or should I say unexpected launch, has my mind racing at this very moment. You see, I've been brainstorming some ideas to launch through Helpie, and speaking of; the conversations with the team need to continue on this topic, specially because we have no time to waste anymore. I thought an exchange was months away, but I'm extremely happy to find myself wrong.

The future is bright

Don't listen to the FUDsters, the myopic people who just don't get it, they don't get that the power to grow, that the power to accomplish great feats, does not come from getting "Institutional Money", but by amassing a collection of human capital, of capable dreamers and builders to create success, and this is precisely what we are witnessing at this very moment.

Yes, the price of Steem might be 40 cents right now, but I look at this blockchain, I look at the people still here, the builders, the permabulls, the hustlers on twitter and I see a recipe for success... Nothing less.
