Steem = #34 - Analysis - 217
I noticed Steem is down to #34 of crypto coins by market cap on coinmarketcap 
which seemed pretty low to me. I used to remember it being around #25. I wondered if maybe this was due to the Hardfork announcement so I did an analysis.
August 8th Steem = $1.03 August 11th .962 =93.4% of value
ICON the coin above Steem 8-8 = 0.759730 8-11 .670142 = 88.2% of value
Aeternity the coin below steem = 1.28 8-8 and 1.15 8-11 = 89.8% of value.
According to this Steem is not losing as much value as other cryptos after the announcement.

Today Steem is # 33 Up a Spot
But price down to 0.88!
Maybe next week it can get back to 30. Seems like the SBD should help it.
A well known saying applies now "Winter is not meant to last forever". What are your thoughts regarding the evolution of the exchange rate for Steem until the Hardfork?
I will keep on using the blockchain since I really appreciate it and want it to be sustainable on a very long term.
I expect the current trend to continue. Lower Steem with SBD holding it's value. Hopefully Steem holds above .90 but who knows.

I think that we need an "steemit inc" (with the mission of care about the blockchain) that cares about the promotion of the social network.

Steemit Inc might be running out of money.
I think we need a setup that doesn't push all our investors into delegating to bots. Part of it is the culture on here.

You should not forget that many shitcoins already vanished and that many coins/tokens in the top 100 are still alive. Steemit isn't maybe in the top 25 anymore... but who would have ever thought a site like youtube or facebook or reddit to get to where they are now. :)!
If Steem is moving down in the ranking, it means that it's underperforming compared to the other cryptos. But, this can all change if you make the timeline larger or smaller.
