Understanding the Conscience -The Sociopath -Lack of remorse, guilt or shame
The dressing is only a facade, and I am not one to judge on first sight,last week I was passing by a hotel for commercial sex workers,a lady well dressed that looks like a rapture ready Christian was coming out of the commercial sex hotel a second look I can tell she is a licensed daily contribution collector, and there is something so holly about her that that she wasn't puting on any ear rings and her dressing was very modest.
It bring to bear that she is making a living by doing a job that is legal. However prostitution is an age long profession, but it is frowned at by both Christians and Moslems.
So my question is this while she is waltzing to the pulpits to contribute her offering which is of course from monies partly collected from prostitute, does she feel a prick of guilt while giving her offering to God? Is there a moral justification?
Her perfected unconcerned which goes a long way to show how well her conscience sits well with the whole idea.
The convenient and comfortable way she separated religion and demands from her everyday life and work epitomizes the high
Charlatan and hypocrisy found in our general engagement with religion.
It goes to show the sad irony of life in our dear country of how criminality, graft, and religion go hand in hand in Nigeria.
A politician comes to church with stolen funds and he is given a special seat in church and a standing ovation when he walks in . As we export our religiosity to other parts of the world, let us also put our house in other.
Corruption stinks in every nook and corner of these country, killings every day by herds men,even an ordinary citizen tries to out smart his fellow citizen,but we all cast aspersions at the government even though they are also culpable too, as they are grand masters in the trade.
Book haram using Hijab wearing girls to commit terrorism in large numbers,also kidnapping school girls so that when they are rescued, they are a shadow of their former self, these evils are committed amongst scholars and religious bigots everyday as they seat and watch, and we still feel we are not morally bankrupt in this country? These are my thoughts this morning ,good morning dear steemians.
