Greetings to all followers of our Steem Merchants project. This update will show up the progress beyond the adoption, so you can catch up and have simple access to every merchant who’s accepting Steem and SBD as a payment method.

Steem Merchants Website:

We’re working on a website entirely dedicated to the Steem Merchants project, and at this moment we’ve enabled our site on Wix where you can find a whole section with the list of business adopted. You can check it out here

Discord Channel:

On our Discord server we’ve created a channel that contains the list of all the merchants we’re adopting with detail information about the product or service they offer and their contact info.

Whatsapp Group:

In this group are all business owners and the Steemians who wants to keep in touch with them. Here we also give them daily information about the Steem and SBD price so they can easily know how much to charge. This group is an open space for networking, if you want to be included as a member you just contact @danielvehe by discord.

Web Domain:

We’ve bought a domain exclusively for the project. The domain is steemmerchants.es, if you own a hosting and want to share a space with us would be great.

Important Information:

The progress of the project has been slow due to the political situation and the general blackout that the country went through in the past few days, for our bakers who haven't heard this news yet, we spent several days without electricity throughout the country. The electric service is being re-established little by little, there are still some cities with inconveniences. Parallel that, the problems with the Internet connection and the water supplies due to the above mentioned have caused many of the merchants to postpone our meetings.

Regardless of all these difficulties we have gone through we are active and more committed to Steem than ever, these days were useful for us to organize ourselves and to have good ideas that we will soon make effective for the good of the community.

Saludos a todos los que siguen nuestro proyecto Steem Merchants. En esta actualización les mostramos avances fuera de la adopción, principalmente para que puedan seguir el progreso y tener acceso más rápido a los comercios que aceptan Steem y SBD.

En nuestro servidor de discord tenemos un canal dedicado a listar todos los comercios que vamos adoptando, con sus productos o servicios y la forma de contactarlos directamente.

En este grupo incluimos a todos los dueños de comercios y steemians que quieran estar en contacto directo con ellos. Además colocamos las tasas del Steem y SBD diariamente para que los comercios lo tengan más fácil a la hora de cobrar. También es un espacio que será muy positivo para hacer networking. Si deseas ser incluido en este grupo te puedes comunicar en discord con @danielvehe

Se adquirió el dominio que será usado solo para este proyecto. El mismo es: steemmerchants.es Si cuentas con un hosting y nos quieres prestar un espacio sería genial.

Información importante

El desarrollo del proyecto ha sido lento, sobre todo los últimos días por la situación política y por el apagón de energía eléctrica sufrida en toda Venezuela. Para nuestros bakers que todavía no conocen las noticias; estuvimos varios días sin luz en todo el país. Poco a poco se ha ido restableciendo, aunque existen todavía problemas en algunas ciudades. También fallas en la conexión de internet y agua, lo que hace que muchos comerciantes nos pospongan las reuniones.

Pese a todas las dificultades estamos activos y más comprometidos con Steem que nunca. Estos días nos sirvieron para organizarnos y tener buenas ideas que pronto haremos efectivas para el bien de la comunidad.
