Marketplaces where you buy and sell stuff with Crypto

Today starts a series of articles I plan to do on the subject of where can you buy or sell everyday stuff using Cryptocurrency. Thanks to @freddio for the comment which inspired this post.

1. Open Bazaar:
A franchise like setup where you download the store software and run a store from your computer. https://openbazaar.org/

OpenBazaar is a different way to do online commerce. It’s a peer to peer application that doesn’t require middlemen, so no fees or restrictions.

OpenBazaar connects people directly via a peer to peer network. Data is distributed across the network instead of storing it in a central database.

How are there no fees and restrictions?OpenBazaar isn’t a company nor an organization; it’s free open source software. It was built to provide everyone with the ability to buy and sell freely.

Who controls the OpenBazaar network?Nobody has control over OpenBazaar. Each user contributes to the network equally and is in control of their own store and private data.

How do I pay for the stuff on OpenBazaar that I want to buy? You can Pay with one of over 50 different cryptocurrencies on OpenBazaar, including Steem, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Zcash, Dash, etc. Seller receives payment in Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash or Zcash.

2. Coin Payments:
This is not a marketplace in the traditional sense, but I think it is a decentralized marketplace.
If you already have a business or online selling point and want to accept crypto in addition to currency, this entity is a add on which is allows you to accept a multitude of cryptocurrencies including Steem, but also Bitcoin, Litecoin and Peercoin. In this way it changes existing marketplaces in marketplaces which accept cryptocurrency. https://www.coinpayments.net/supported-coins

  1. FORRA- Buy and Sell goods using cryptocurrency👉https://forra.io/.

Forra is a low fee ecommerce marketplaces that allows the purchase of physical goods with digital currencies. >By using a USD-pegged stable coin to eliminate volatility, Forra is able to reliably facilitate precise monetary transactions between buyers and sellers.<
They advertise that they are the crypto version of eBay with PayPal built in.

Forra believes they are creating a real use case for crypto. They are connecting cryptocurrency and ecommerce to create a low fee way to sell things online in their our marketplace.Forra is entirely free from a seller standpoint. They charge the buyer 3% in fees.

In order to sell stuff you sign up here:
Visit https://market.forra.io/signup and sign up!

In order to sell you sign up here:

Payments on Forra

When a buyer purchases your listed item, the funds enter our escrow contract for 30 days. Once the buyer confirms the item has been received, payment will be released.<

You can sell stuff to the marketplace owner, which they then sell. >Their webpage say they buy anything that you do not want. Their philosophy is the old saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. <
They have a page to show you what they prefer to buy, but they are willing to consider many other things.

Thats three marketplaces, if you know of any places let me know!

Seems like there was a gift card or something for Steem.

Do you know who made it?

This looks tremendous!
But when I go there the web certificate is expired and if I continue past the warnings I get this:

I will try again later. I will also look up steemgiftcards on Steemit.

Thank You

:(
That really sucks. I think that may have been one of the best ways to cash out.

i think cryptocurrency can be the " Social Media " money in the Future. And i really like it, if you can use it to buy and sell stuff.

Really great article and thanks for the honor :)

Best Regards
@freddio
