Halted on the water development board to face floods: order not to leave the headquarters

All the holidays (excluding hajj pilgrimage) for the officers and employees of the Bangladesh Water Development Board have been suspended from Wednesday (July 4th) till September till the floods disaster has been ordered and no headquarters should be left.

According to the instruction, flood situation prevails in the country. It can damage the dam on the water development board, causing damage to crops, irrigation canals and other infrastructure. It may also be necessary to reinstate the emergency services after the flood. As a result, the Director General of Bangladesh Water Development Board, called the Mahodaya Board's headquarters, along with all the level officials and employees of the field level, with full and alertness and devotion, called for addressing the situation.

Simultaneously, the head of all concerned departments has been instructed to take steps to deal with the flood situation keeping in constant contact with the Deputy Commissioners and local public representatives.
