Steemit Secret: How low can STEEM fall? Best and worst case scenario 🤔

Die Frage, die sich die meisten von euch sicher stellen, von denen die noch so viel Durchhaltevermögen haben und immer noch auf Steemit regelmäßig bloggen, ist, wann haben wir endlich die Talsohle erreicht und wenn geht es mit Steem wieder aufwärts.

Generell, so wie immer im Leben, kann man grundsätzlich Optimist oder Pessimist sein, und deswegen möchte ich euch zwei unterschiedliche Sichtweisen präsentieren. Grundsätzlich ist es genauso schwer, den endgültigen Boden zu prognostizieren, wie es fast unmöglich ist, das nächste Allzeithoch vorherzusagen, aber man kann sich zumindest charttechnisch anschauen, wohin sich der Markt kurz- bis mittelfristig entwickeln könnte.

Worst-Case Scenario

Fangen wir mit dem pessimistischen Worst-Case-Szenario an. Wenn man sich den Chart von Oktober 2016 bis jetzt anschaut, sieht man, dass Steem vom letzten Allzeithoch im Jänner bereits mehr als 90% verloren hat und auch unter die 1$-Support-Linie gefallen ist, was kein gutes Zeichen ist. Der nächste Support befindet sich dann irgendwo zwischen 25 und 35 Cent und dann könnte es sogar noch tiefer auf die 10-Cent-Support-Linie zugehen. Das wäre natürlich sehr schmerzhaft, aber auch nicht unbedingt das Ende von Steemit.

Best-Case Scenario

Legt man nämlich den Bitcoin-Chart über den Steem-Verlauf sieht man, dass Steem hauptsächlich so wie die meisten Altcoins von Bitcoin und dem generellen Sentiment des Kryptomarkts abhängt. Kommen wir also zum Best-Case-Szenario, das wie folgt aussehen könnte. Bitcoin hat mit $6000 das Tal erreicht und wird sich die nächsten Monate erholen. Genauso könnte auch Steem bereits mit 60-70 Cent den Boden erreicht haben und es könnte von diesem Niveau bereits langsam wieder aufwärts gehen.

Realistisch könnte der Boden also irgendwo zwischen Best- und Worst-Case-Szenario liegen. Ob und wann man in Steem am besten investieren sollte, muss natürlich jeder für sich selber entscheiden. Grundsätzlich ist ein Preis nahe dem Allzeittief natürlich ein sehr guter, wenn nicht sogar der beste Einstiegszeitpunkt, wenn man an das Projekt glaubt.

Ich denke, dass es vielleicht noch etwas bergab gehen könnte, aber ich bin immer noch sehr von Steemit überzeugt und glaube an die langfristige Entwicklung und an den USP von Steem als "Social Media auf der Blockchain" :)

The question that I am sure most of you are asking, at least those who are still here and blog regularly on Steemit, is when did we finally reach the bottom and when does Steem go up again?

In general, as always in life, you can be an optimist or a pessimist, and that is why I would like to present you with two different perspectives. Basically it is just as difficult to predict the final bottom as it is almost impossible to predict the next all-time high, but you can at least take a look at the chart to see where the market could develop in the short to medium term.

Worst-Case Scenario

Let's start with the pessimistic worst-case scenario. If you look at the chart from October 2016 to now, you can see that Steem has already lost more than 90% from the last all-time high in January and has also fallen below the $1 support line, which is not a good sign. The next support will be somewhere between 25 and 35 cents and then it could go even lower to the 10 cents support line. That would be very painful of course, but also not necessarily the end of Steemit.

Best-Case Scenario

If you put the Bitcoin chart over the Steem price you can see that Steem mainly depends on Bitcoin and the general sentiment of the crypto market like most altcoins. So let's get to the best-case scenario, which looks like this. Bitcoin has reached the bottom with $6000 and will recover in the next few months. In the same way Steem could have already reached the bottom with 60-70 cents and it could slowly go up again from this level.

Realistically, the bottom could be somewhere between the best and worst case scenario. Whether and when one should invest in Steem, is solely up to you and this is just my personal opinion. Basically, a price near the all-time low is of course a very good, if not the best time to enter the market, if you believe in the project.

I think Steem might still go a little downhill, but I am still very convinced about Steemit and believe in the long-term development and the USP of Steem as the "Social Media on the Blockchain" :)
