Keep What Little Bitcoin I Have, or Continue To Buy Steem?!

Is it time to double down?

This has been the one question plaguing my thoughts as of late.

I understand the importance of owning Bitcoin better than the next guy. I'm honestly so frustrated that I wasn't able to acquire at least 1 BTC during the bear market.

Part of me fears that this bear market will be a lot different than the last, in that the alt szn might not be as life changing as it was during the 2017 climb.

Deep down in my heart, I know that Bitcoin's value is going to continue to soar and the safest bet I could make is continue to hold, but my goal is financial freedom and I can't shake the feeling that it's going to be Steem that will put me in the best position to make that a reality.

I know as a community we have a lot of issues and the game theory that was used to create the distribution is flawed, but Steem survived the bear market. People continued to post everyday and we look drastically different and have a lot more to offer thanks to the efforts of the many developers that continued to build on our blockchain.

People are going to continue to complain about not getting enough attention and making enough Steem at any price in my opinion. I know because I was one of the people frustrated that I would never achieve dolphin status when we were at $2-3. I was jealous of those who were able to accumulate at $0.3 and prayed for the opportunity to do so as well.

Well the time has came and I believe we will see the sun light that is alt szn sooner than later and I would rather be on the side that is chillin with my big bag of Steem than wondering "what if", years down the line.

Somehow steemit had me unfollow you....hmmm. Long time no see hope all is well dude.

Lmao well there wasn't much to follow for a while, but a bull market has a knack for bringing everyone back haha

Hope all is well with you too! Gotta check out your new art!

Probably too late now to FOMO into bitcoin for the short term but long term is solid. However, like you I believe that Steem is the undervalued assets I am focused on!

Oh yeah, you're choice to power up was a big reason why I asked the question! Can't wait to see the price shoot up, but not looking forward to this place being so crowded again lol

I hear you. I'm always frustrated that I didn't hang on to more, or sell more at the peak and play the market timing game etc.

I think it's like since the movements are so wild there's always so much room for regret, if you go back and look at the tape.. but we're human and we do what we do

I think just having a little is fine.. bitcoin is probably gonna keep going up like, all our lives. So even if you had to work for a while, chipping away a section of your paycheck on bitcoin would turbo boost you on the path to freedom

Not as sexy as getting insta rich from Steem or something going way up, but still pretty good.. there probably is never really a "too late" or anything

Ya, I think this definitely will happen at some point.. I kind of can't imagine some of the coins being valued at like 5-10x what they got to on the last spike.. so maybe this is the time

or maybe they keep fading relative to btc, so even if they spike with it, it isn't to too absurd of a high

but who knows

Steem at least is low right now and might be an okay time to speculate, as far as playing alts goes..

but I'd regard it as just gambling and bitcoin as the safe thing that ultimately you want to accumulate more of

and since you already have a good chunk of steem i'd say just hodl your btc!

you can think about what you wanna do with your delegation earnings too.. you could keep flipping them into btc.. or maybe a mixture of more SP and some btc
