I have seen a lot of my fellow steemian freaking out and complaining about recent sharp declines in steem price. We already have reduced user activity, as many impatient fair weather fellows have left us.
These are the desperate times and I think only those with sound ideals and beliefs will survive.
So for those who are still sticking... I would say...
Instead of Freaking out, Freak In

I stopped measuring steem in terms of USD a long time ago.
Steem is unique and nothing like this ever have been created. The token had its own value so why tie it to some deflationary fiat.

More Steem, Bigger chunk of PIE for us who stayed.
Ever since I joined Steemit, I have been continuously powering up. And during the recent dip, the rate of increase in my Steem Power has almost doubled.

Holding 1 Steem is like holding 1000 tokens.
SMT's are coming and soon will be plenty of monetized tokens, just like ERC-20 tokens. Recent example is Hunt Tokens from SteemHunt platform (you can claim hunt tokens proportional to your steem power).

You have got a valid point.
From 13$ to 0.69$...At this level it doesn't matter whether it's 0.69 or 0.069...It is the bottom all the same.
