Steemexplorers Discord Channel - In Construction

My team and I are trying to develop a new discord channel simply aimed at helping fellow Steemians have easy access to information that can help them improve their experiences here on Steemit and to help promote growth of their accounts.

The vision is simple, construct a discord channel where various services of all kinds including things like:

@steembasicincome
@steemmonsters
@contestkings
@minnowbooster
@dustsweeper
@steem-ua
@minnowbootcamp
@silvergoldbotty
@rewards-pool
@incinboost
@cryptowithincin

...and more of course!

All are categorized by the type of service they provide our community. Within each category, these services then will have their own channel where we will pin basic information from a description of the services, a link to the respective websites or steemit accounts for those services, and finally the link to each discord invite (assuming every service also has its own discord channel).

This vision is in essence, to serve as a FREE, and easy to access database of things that people can either quickly reference to find something they need, or stay a while and chat with others in real-time, if they have questions about any service they’re researching.

Initial Communication With Service Leaders

To begin this process, I reached out to some of the leaders of some of the services I mentioned above just to see if they first and foremost liked this idea and if each were ok with me adding their services to this discord channel.

Each were on board, again given that it’s a free service aimed at helping people find their services or learn more about them and in no way competes financially or for memberships of any kind against any of these service providers.

Ultimately, these individuals, may even swing by from time to time to help answer questions once we have deployed, when checking in on the conversations happening in their respective designated channels.

We only communicated this to a handful of individuals that I’ve interacted with in the past on various things, so we certainly have a long way to go and many more services to bring on board.

What We Need Help With

We need some individuals to jump in and help us collect the data to “pin” in each channel.

This includes:
1.) Descriptions of each service
2.) Links to websites
3.) Links to discord channels

Once this is completed, we will be able to go live and deploy this out to everyone.

We are looking for anyone that shares in this vision of helping people to jump in and assist, however, where we can (with the limited funds we have between our three team members) we can also try to compensate those that do help via shares of @steembasicincome.

I am just starting to wrap up the end of my “busy season” at work (been working 24/7 practically since the beginning of January - sucks to be in the accounting field =/ ) but i am beginning to have some more time again to devote to this.

If you are willing to assist, I’d be grateful and we can also discuss @steembasicincome shares compensation (pending funds available) at the time you contact me.

We are not really looking for anything complex or unusually involved. This is meant to be a simple database where people can also interact with each other toward a common goal of knowledge sharing and growth.

We want the Steemit community to be easy to use and understand and we want everyone to have access to information so that we can continue to promote the Steemit community and be the best community out there.

I think it’s in all of our interests to continue to find ways to help bring new users of keep the ones we have.
