Steem Basic Income Update #3: Return of the SBI!

Short post! ^_^

Attention fellow Steemians: the moment you've all been waiting for has arrived. That's right, the one and only Modern Zorker has once again ransacked the list of those he follows and selected new beneficiaries for Steem Basic Income!

If you need to know more about SBI, I recommend following @steembasicincome, looking over the FAQs, and getting all your questions answered that way. The short, short version is: you send 1 Steem to @steembasicincome with the name of the Steemian you want to sponsor in the memo field. That person then receives 1 share of SBI: automatic upvotes on every one of their posts. But just for sponsoring someone, you receive 1 share as well! That means a short-term outlay of Steem can translate into significant gains over time if you continue to post regularly and don't undermine your own content by posting spam or other garbage.

We have our first duo of sponsorships thusfar: @kittyandcheese and @sequentialvibe just celebrated their awesome 11th anniversary, so what better gift to give a loving couple of bloggers than the gift of money money money? @kittyandcheese is a writer, artist, and fitness nut, while her husband @sequentialvibe is dedicated to video games, blockchain stuff, and music. I hope the next time you consider paying a bidbot for a short-term upvote that likely won't earn you back what you put into it and only serves to concentrate the wealth into the hands of people who already have plenty, you'll instead choose to spend that money on an SBI sponsorship that will benefit both you and someone else in the long run.
