SteemBasicIncome / Incinboost / Steem Monsters Giveaway
With the ever changing prices of STEEM and the significant drops that we have been seeing, Steem Monsters cards are becoming much more expensive from a STEEM perspective to buy.
It's because of this reason that myself and my team members (@jonnyla08 and @monstermadness) will all be rolling out a new wave of giveaways. Check out these accounts also for more chances to win free prizes from additional giveaways!
Based on our discretion and the funds and/or cards that we have available we will determine which items are awarded in the giveaways in each round. After all, it's free for anyone to participate so we have to make due with what we have. We're just trying to help people in our own small way.
In this rendition of our giveaways the rules are as follows:
To participate complete any ONE of the following
**1.) If you choose not to do any of the below you may upvote and we will consider that as participation but you are NOT required to do this step. Proceed below.
2.) Drop some knowledge in the comments to the post with something useful that you know or have learned about Steemit or anything Steemit / STEEM related that you believe could help either myself or others expand knowledge and growth potential.
3.) Share a story about a way you recently helped someone in the Steemit community.
4.) Nominate someone you know for acts of kindness or good deeds that you think should be recognized.
Helpful or inspiring comments will gain more weight and visually will grab my attention than simply upvoting and will increase your odds of being selected
I will also randomly selected winnings at times from the upvote list when time constraints force me to do so

It's a shame the whales rarely vote now because I agree that it did keep people more motivated to write posts incase a whale came by giving them a upvote which in turn I believe made people much more active.

I am not playing Steem Monsters but if I were to win, I would love to gift the card to @bxlphabet because he likes playing and doesn't have much money.
a tip: make sure to tweet all your posts and other posts you like and use the hashtag #steem. We are trying to make Steem a trending tag and get the attention of the wider world...
I learned the importance of supporting new Steemians. In summer 2017, I was getting discouraged on Steemit. My posts were not being seen and there was almost no engagement.
I wrote a significant post that got nothing, not even a comment. Zero, zilch, nada. No one saw it...
When I came home and logged in, I noticed my rep had increased, and wondered why.
Out of the blue, unexpectedly, and when I really needed it, a Whale had upvoted a comment I made.
I think it was almost $1 and he only did it that once, but this left a lasting impression and jump-started me to keep going.
To this day, I don't remember who it was, I think his Steemit name began with an "A." Whoever that was Thank You. I'm still here because of it.
So the lesson is, don't underestimate a gesture of support, it may mean more than you think. :)
