Steem.Chat Contest #24 Winners Announcement!

The 24th contest was about answering a simple question, ‘If you were part of Avengers, which character would you be and why? What would you do to make our world a better place?’ There were some interesting entries. I hope we will continue to see interesting responses to the weekly contest and greater number of participants as well.

Let’s get on with this.

1. @oluego1 - I'll like to be shuri...that's black panther sister, she my most loved marvel character now..I don't know why but i just love her so much.. I'll change the world by using her brain power and technologies to make the world better, for example look at what she did in black panther by healing the white man's broken spinal cord..I could reduce people using wheel chairs and I'm sure I'll find a way to cure heart problems and brain problems.. so I'll like to be 'SHURI'

2. @georgechuks - believe no superhero can be everywhere at the same time. So to change the world, i need to start from my neighbourhood. I will agree that spiderman has the greatest role but most overlooked. I would rather be Spiderman to take down petty criminals. Crazy right☺ Now this is my reason and how i would make the world a better place. Since we are talking about our world, then its obvious that people with extreme powers dont exist. Therefore we wouldn't really need Hulk, Iron Man and those heavy weight superheroes, they would only come in handy when there is a natural disaster which hardly happens compared to street crime. I believe if we had more 'spidermen' in our respective locations, the whole world would be a better place. the reason i say this is that most villians we watch on marvel and in real life were once young and if you check their early stages, they were petty criminals in the neighbourhood who acquired their resources through illegal means especially their weapons, robbed people and institutions to acquire what they used to become the villians they are today. For the fact that they were never caught, their quest for more power increased and they took what they wanted just because they could and here they are all grown and fully equipped to harm the majority. i believe as spiderman i will try to stop them as early before it gets to the point where the whole avengers would need to intervene of which the world might not be saved just like in Infinity War. At the early stage this criminals could easily be stopped and handed over to authorities of which they will still be alive and rehabilitated, but if not when they get to super villians stage, we might have no option than to kill them and not save them. Like they say ''charity begins at home''

3. @frostie-lebron -I would be the doctor strange
   WHY? Well he is one of the most powerful sorcerers in existence, he draws his powers from three sources, and among those three is the manipulation of the universe’s ambient magical energy, among doctor strange’s power is teleportation, illusion casting, time travel and so on but the most important is the time manipulation and we all know time manipulation is really a game changer when it comes to battling with formidable enemies, so I would be doctor strange because I believe I am going to put all these really cool abilities into good use
   WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO MAKE OUR WORLD A BETTER PLACE?
   I would fight against the spiritual forces, magical forces, fighting against this world, the metaphysical and the advanced being that would want to take over this beautiful world of ours.

4. @muzi0202 - My piece for Steem.Chat contest "Who Avenger I want to be and why". I would personally prefer to be Groot, the younger version. He is too adorable to be ignored. People love him more than anyone. Baby Groot I mean to say. Why I choose Groot, if there are many other powerful Avengers? In our modern world the reason to get exintinted from the earth will be either war, environment pollution or climate change because of global warming. We know Groot has tremendous power of regeneration. As Groot I can plant too many plants from my body, weed out every toxic components from the atmosphere. As Groot's vocabulary limited to "I and am and groot" exclusively in that order. Groot can do better things without talking too much. As Groot sacrificed himself for his friends, I can also do same for the prevention of earth. In conclusion I may say I am Groot! I am Groot! I am Groot! that means I can prevent from pollution, global warming, as well as from terrorism which is rooted in today's world..... . I am Groot! ( My name isDr Muzaffar)! I am Groot! 5. @ambdavid - Loki has lofty ideas on his mind, like power and change. Although Thor mentions Loki more than any other Avenger, Loki doesn’t reciprocate the brotherly care. His eyes are on his goals. I would love to be like Thor, because no matter where he found himself, he still appreciated and valued friendship. Actually life isn't all about our philosophies and ideologies all the time, getting interested in other people from time to time is what keeps the world going. I love Thor so much that I have acted his role lots of times in our local dramatic club. This is one reason I would love to be the role of Thor, I would always show a sincere interest in people and love them too. a very popular Latin proverb says that "Amor est vitae essentiae "which means "love is the essence of life. " Love will make our world better!
