STEEMCHURCH: YOU ARE A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST JESUS. PART ONE
Hello Fellow Steemchurch Parishioners.
Today I would like to share one of my favourite topics and Bible verses with you; the very essence of our existence as Believers!.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature[creation]: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.
2Corinthians 5:17
Believers, Christians, Children of God, i want to address you all today.
I want you to notice in God's Word some facts about yourself as a new creation in Christ Jesus.
1.You are a child of God.
That is not true of everyone in this world. We hear a lot about 'the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man."
However, Jesus once said to the Pharisees, the most religious people of that time, "Ye are of your father the devil..."(John 8:44).
It is true that God is the Creator of all mankind, but He is only the Father of those that have been born again.
Thank God, as a believer you are a new creation!.
Your Spirit has been recreated, not your body
Your body remains the same, but inside your body lives the real you-your Spirit man.
Paul class man's Spirit the "inward a?man": "...though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day"(2 Cor. 4:16).
In first Peter 3:4, Peter calls this inner man "the hidden man of the heart".
Man's Spirit is hidden to the physical eye.
As well as you may know someone, you have never seen the real person inside. You only see the house he lives in.
When that house in which he lives in is decayed, the real man will still live on.
His Spirit man will never die.
Jesus said about Lazarus,.. "the beggar died, and [he] was carried by the angels into Abraham's bossom..."(Luke 16:22).
It is this inward man who has become a new creation in Christ.
He has come into the family of God.
He is a child of God.
He is in perfect union withThe Master.
2.You are one with the Master.
The believe and Jesus are one.
GOD'S Word declares, "But he that is joined unto the Lord is ONE SPIRIT"(1 Cor. 6:17).
Jesus said ,"I am the vine, you are the branches"(John 15:5).
As you look at a tree, you don't think of the branches as being separate from the rest of the tree.
When you look at the tree and it's branches, you see them as one-a single entity.
In the same way, we are one with Christ. Our Sprites are joined to Him. Jesus is the Head, and we are His body.

No sin, no shame, no past, no pain can separate us from the Love of Christ, for we are one with Christ.

When we come to know Jesus, the Bible says we took on a new life. The old life is over, God makes all things new. Jesus puts it this way, "you must be born again." (John 3:3) It’s not a remake of the old; it’s new! It’s not just an improvement of the old; it’s a new life. God told prophet Ezekiel: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you." (Ezek 36:26)
That’s what we experienced - we took on a new meaning and purpose in life. We can experience a new joy (not just a happiness based on the surrounding), a new hope (not based on circumstances) and we are looking forward to a home in heaven. The Bible says in v.18 "All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ..."

To be a new creature is to be born again. "If any man is in Christ." He may be in the visible church—yet not in Christ. It is not to be baptized into Christ's name which makes a true Christian—but to be in Christ, that is, to be grafted into Him by faith. And if to be in Christ makes a Christian—then there are but few Christians. Many are in Christ nominally, not really; they are in Christ by profession, not by spiritual union. Are they in Christ—who do not know Him? Are they in Christ—who persecute those who are in Christ? Surely, such a holy head as Christ, will disclaim such spurious members.
John 1:12
"But AS MANY as received Him, to them he gave the power TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD, even to them that believe on His name".
Romans 10:9
"That IF THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS, and SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE HEART THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, THOU SHALL BE SAVED".
We should always realize that Christ in us is the hope of glory. If our sins be as red as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. The presence of Christ in our lives changes and turns all our situations around for good. And now that we are in Christ, we should learn to live in the newness of the son, Jesus.
You are right.
Knowing who we are in Christ is paramount to enjoying the benefits of The New Creation.
Following Jesus is not something we can take lightly. It implies for those who experience it a revolution in their total being. With all clarity we can identify a before and after, it is a completely drastic change in our daily life. To be a new creature is to start over, start a new story, leave the past behind, die to that past and with Christ in the heart be reborn to make everything new, what a beautiful post

Why i love my maker so much is this....He loves us much...He doesn't remember our Sins; Once we acknowledge our sin, He forgives and accept us as a new creation.....And while we are yet sinners He died for us....
He love us to the extend of sending His beloveth son to die for us.
And now we are called the sons of God and are one with Christ.
