How to transform a weak youth into a strong youth?

in #steemchurch5 years ago

When speaking of young people, many of us seem to understand that it is a differentiated or special kind of Christian, we give them titles such as: the young person is dynamic, the young person is playful, the young person is that the young person is that, and, when they begin to give problems in the congregations we say: the young person is like that, the young person is difficult to treat, or we say: it is only a phase that will soon happen, and with fear of losing them, many of us have subjected our churches to a kind of adaptation for young people, modified the rituals of cults and even various forms of discipleship, all because we create distorted concepts about being young.

It is from these concepts that we have tried to do everything possible to please a class of Christians, "young people" Force the church to join all kinds of culture and art, because after all young people like animation, Young like new things, ballad, entertainment, treasure hunts, young like that young people that way, in the end, we have a plethora of things that imagine nice youth.

With all that, we only have one way to judge whether the church is successful, or if it is doing good work, for such a trial we will have to base ourselves on the quantity and animation of the youth, a great amount and great animation in the events or works It means that everything is fine, otherwise, it means that something is wrong, it is a fact that many of us have treated youth in that way. Biblically this is correct? So we really have such a strong young youth Timothy and Stephen?

So, what should we do? Should we give what young people want? Or give what they need? If your child was dying of anemia, and your doctor forbade you from eating nonsense, candy, and other treats, but your child does not want to eat meat, beans, rice, vegetables, fruits, what would you do? Would he let die eating beast? Of course not!

The Apostle Paul said in ROMANS 7: 18-19: "In my flesh, good does not dwell"; Do you think that your young people are different, that in their flesh lives some good, or that they want to do the work of God? He knows that the carnal nature that is in every man also lives in the young, ROMANS 3:23. Be sure that the young man (the carnal, or the outer man) does not want to pray, read the Bible, evangelize, talk about Jesus, wake up at dawn to intercede, etc. He wants is fun, walks, parties, baths, excursion, and things of the type, that is, well that the inner man wants, the outer man does not, because they are opposites. With that, if you use these carnal strategies, you attract people, carnal young people, and carnal people want carnal things, then you will have to feed the same things, or not, the choice is yours!
