If you have been in a presentation, baby undoubtedly listened to the statement of Proverbs 22.6, which guides the child to teach the way to follow. This precious verse is a life motto of parents filled with the Holy Spirit, but also, it should win the attention of all of us who are children of a Father who loves to reveal himself and who wants everyone to reach the full knowledge of the truth.

When God inspired the wise Solomon to write Proverbs 22.6, he was teaching what He does with each one of us, His children. The principle for natural parents came from the example of our spiritual Father. However, if we think that this verse is only for the parents, we will not see ourselves in the position of children and, therefore, we will not reach the expected result.

Jesus, the firstborn of the children of God, came to teach us about the importance of looking to the Father, revealing a secret that is so simple that it goes unnoticed by the majority: we need to observe what God, our Father, is doing! In this way, we will learn with Him the correct way to act, react and interact with everyone around us.

The problem is that in the way of life, it seems that many are scattered, looking at the world and situations around it, instead of paying attention to what God is doing. Others still look only at the hands of God, focusing on what God has to offer, but forget to fix their eyes on the heart, on the intention, on the purposes, on the character of our Lord.

Look to the Father and discover his essence and character, and you will know that He blesses you because he loves you; He heals because it is the source of life in abundance. That is precisely what Jesus did to have a life marked by miracles and countless manifestations of power and love: what He saw the Father doing, that He did to all around Him.

"I truly tell you that the Son can not do anything about himself, he can only do what he sees the Father doing, because what the Father does the Son does as well, because the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he does. Yes, to your admiration, he will show you works even greater than these. (John 5.19-20)

Let's not be with a son who only pays attention on the mobile phone while traveling with his father. If you focus only on your movies or toys, you will never learn the path that the father, as a lively tour guide, has shown you. Inattentive, the son will never know how to travel the same path alone, because he was not lending anything the father was doing or talking about.

Since ancient times, God has revealed himself to man: I am the God who heals you, I am with you every day; I am the creator God of heaven and earth; I am the God of the impossible ... I am! However, if our eyes focus only on the problems and circumstances of life, we will never discover who God is or what he does, nor learn his ways. That is, we will never have a victorious walk and we will not reach the end that God planned for us.

Just look at the Father! The world may fall on your side, but if you look at the Father, you will see that He is acting on your behalf and that He has not shaken for a second. You will be able to act with your life and in favor of others, and you will still enjoy the peace that exceeds all understanding. All because his eyes were in the right direction.

Look to the Father and see what He is doing for you. Look to the Father and discover what He is preparing for your future. Look to the Father and see how he always acts as love. And you will also know how to show forgiveness and mercy towards others, you will know that you can react full of patience and you will be able to interact with everyone in peace, because our God Shalom will show you how.

Looking to the Father, we will always have what we learn! We will always have what to imitate! We will always have a way of victory to travel, enjoy and teach everyone around us.
